After this Jesus the Christ began to show his disciples how he must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things at the hands of the elders and chief priests and Scribes, and be put to death, and on the third day be raised again.

And I knew that thou art ever listening to me, but for the sake of the crowd who are standing about, I said it, in order that they may believe that thou hast sent me." When he had said this he cried with a great voice, "Lazarus, come forth!" Out came the dead man, wrapped hand and foot with grave-clothes, and his face bound up in a napkin.
