So they dismissed the multitude, and took Him as He was in the ship. But there were other small vessels likewise with Him.

And they were exceedingly afraid, and said to one another, Who is this? that even the wind and the sea obey Him?

And immediately Jesus permitted them: and the impure spirits went out of the man, and entered into the swine; and the herd (which were about two thousand,) ran violently down a precipice into the sea, and were suffocated.

And they that were feeding the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what was done:

and he departed, and published in Decapolis, how great things Jesus had done for him, and they were all amazed.

And they laughed at Him: but when He had turned them all out, He taketh the father, and the mother of the child, and those three that were with Him, and goes in where the child was laid:

and immediately the damsel rose up and walked; for she was twelve years old; and they were struck with great astonishment.

and when the sabbath was come, He began to teach in the synagogue: and many that heard Him were astonished, and said, From whence hath He these things? and what is this wisdom which is given unto Him, that even such mighty things are done by his hands?

And the king was exceedingly grieved, but on account of his oath, and those who were at table with him, he would not refuse her: but immediately sent one of his guard,

And He said to them, Come ye yourselves apart into a retired place, and rest a little: for there were many coming and going, and they had not time even to eat.

And when Jesus came out of the ship, He saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion towards them; because they were as sheep without a shepherd: and He began to teach them many things.

But they seeing Him walking upon the water, thought it was an apparition, and cried out: for they all saw Him and were frighted.

And He went up into the ship to them, and the wind ceased, and they were exceedingly amazed in themselves, and wondered: not considering the miracle of the loaves,

and carried about in beds those that were sick, where they heard He was.

And wherever He came into their towns, or cities, or villages, they laid the sick in the streets, and intreated Him that they might but touch the border of his garment, and as many as touched it were healed.

And there were gathered unto Him the pharisees, and some of the scribes, from Jerusalem;

and immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake distinctly.

and were exceedingly astonished, saying, He hath done all things well; he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

And they did eat and were satisfied: and they took up what were left, to wit of fragments seven baskets:

and they that had eaten were about four thousand. And then He dismissed them.

And he looked up, and said, I see men (as it were trees) walking.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses, and they were talking with Jesus.

for he knew not what to say, for they were sore afraid.

And as they came down from the mountain, He charged them to tell no one what they had seen, till after the Son of man were risen from the dead.

And immediately all the people, when they saw Him, were astonished; and running to Him, saluted Him.

And he came to Capernaum; and when He was in the house, He asked them, What were ye disputing about among yourselves by the way?

For every one shall be as it were salted by fire, and every sacrifice shall be seasoned as with salt.

And the pharisees came to Him and asked Him, "if it were lawful for a man to put away his wife," tempting Him.

And when they were in the house his disciples asked Him again about it:

And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus repeating it, saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them, that trust in riches, to enter into the kingdom of God!

And they were exceedingly amazed, saying one to another, Who then can be saved?

Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife and died and left no seed;

Now the feast of the passover and unleavened bread was within two days: and the chief priests and the scribes were contriving how they might seize Him by treachery and put Him to death.

And there were some provoked at it and said, Why was this waste made of the ointment?

And they were glad, when they heard it, and engaged to give him money. And he sought to betray Him at a proper season.

And when they were sat down and eating together, Jesus said, Verily I tell you, that one of you will betray me, who is now eating with me.

And as they were at table, Jesus took bread, and when He had blessed it He brake it, and gave it to them, and said, Take, eat, This is my body:

And going a little farther, He prostrated Himself, and prayed, if it were possible, that this hour might pass from Him.

And when He returned, He found them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy; and they knew not what to say to Him.

And one of those that were present, drawing a sword, struck at the high priest's servant, and took off his ear.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest, with whom were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

the king of Israel, come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe in Him. And even they that were crucified with Him, reviled Him.

There were also women at a distance looking on: among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the less and of Joses, and Salome;

And they went into the sepulchre and saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white robe; and they were affrighted:

And they hasted out and fled from the sepulchre; for they were seized with trembling and amazement: neither said they any thing to any one; for they were afraid.

and she went and told those that used to be with Him, who were mourning and weeping;

After this He appeared in another form to two of them as they were walking, going into the country:

At last he appeared to the eleven as they were sitting at table, and upbraided them with their unbelief, and hardness of heart; because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He was risen.

as they delivered them to us, who were from the beginning eye-witnesses of them, and ministers of the word;

And they were both righteous in the sight of God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

and all the people were praying without at the time of offering incense.

And the people were waiting for Zacharias, and wondered at his staying so long in the temple:

and as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.

and blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of the things that were told her from the Lord.

And an awe fell upon all that dwelt round about them; and all these things were divulged through the whole hill-country of Judea.

And while they were there, the days of her delivery were fulfilled,

and all that heard it, were amazed at the things which were related to them by the shepherds.

And when eight days were fulfilled for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, having been so called by the angel before He was conceived in the womb.

And I assure you, there were many widows in Israel, in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up for three years and six months, and there was a great famine through all the land;

There were also many lepers in Israel, in the time of Elisha the prophet, and none of them was cleansed; but Naaman the Syrian was.
