And he will take up his parable, and say, Rise up, Balak, and hear; and give ear to me, son of Zippor:

Lo! to bless, have I received command , - And I will bless, nor will I take it back.

Because [there is] no sorcery against Jacob, and [there is] no divination against Israel. Now it will be said to Jacob and Israel, what God has done!

Lo, the people will rise up as a lioness, and lift himself up as a lion. He shall not lie down until he have eaten the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.

Then Balak said to Balaam, If you will not put a curse on them, at all events do not give them a blessing.

And Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell thee, saying, All that Jehovah shall speak, that will I do?

And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.

And Balak will take Balaam to the head of Peor, projecting upon the face of the desert

And Balsam will say to Balak, Build to me here seven altars, and prepare to me here seven bullocks and seven rams.

And Balak will do as Balaam said, and he will bring up a bullock, and a ram, upon the altar.

And Balaam will see that it was good in the eyes of Jehovah to praise Israel, and he went not now as before to meet enchantments, and he will set his face to the desert

And Balsam will lift up his eyes and see Israel dwelling according to his tribes; and the spirit of God will be upon him.

He took up his [third] discourse (oracle) and said:

“The oracle of Balaam the son of Beor,
And the oracle of the man whose eye is opened [at last, to see clearly the purpose and will of God],

He will pour water from his buckets, and his offspring [will be] like many waters; his king will be higher than Agag, and his kingdom will be exalted.

God bringeth him forth out of Egypt; He hath as it were the strength of the wild-ox: He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, And shall break their bones in pieces, And smite them through with his arrows.

He stooped, he lay down like a lion, and like a lioness: who will stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.

And Balak's anger will kindle against Balaam, and he will strike his hands: and Balak will say to Balaam, To curse mine enemies I called thee, and behold, blessing, thou didst bless this three beats.

Now, therefore, flee thou unto thy place, - I said, I will, highly honour, thee; but lo! Yahweh hath kept thee back from honour.

And Balaam will say to Balak, Also to thy messengers which thou sentest to me, spake I not, saying,

If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak?

And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

He said, hearing the sayings of God, honoring the knowledge of the Most High, he will see the vision of the Almighty, falling, and the eyes being uncovered:

I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near; a star will go out from Jacob, and a scepter will rise from Israel; it will crush the foreheads of Moab and destroy all the children of Seth.

And Edom shall be a possession, and Seir a possession, they, his enemies; but Israel will do valiantly.

And one out of Jacob shall have dominion, and will destroy out of the city what remaineth.

And he looked [at] Amalek, {uttered} his oracle, and said, "Amalek [is] first of [the] nations, but his future [will be] forever ruin."

And he will see the Kenite, and he will take up his parable, and say, Strong thy dwelling, and put thy nest in the rock.

Nevertheless, [the] Kenite will be burned; how long will Asshur keep you captive?"

Again he {uttered} his oracle and said, "Woe, who will live when God establishes this?

The ships [will come] from the hand of the Kittim, and they will afflict Asshur and will afflict Eber; also he [will be] forever ruin."

And Balaam will rise up and will go, and turn back to his place; and also Balak went to his way.

And Israel will dwell in Shittim, and the people will begin to commit fornication with the daughters of Moab.

And she called the people to the sacrifices of their God: and the people will eat and will worship to their God.

And Israel will be bound to Baal-Peor; and the anger of Jehovah will kindle against Israel.

Yahweh said to Moses, "Take all {the leaders} of the people and kill them before the sun, so the fierce anger of Yahweh will turn from Israel."

And Moses will say to the judges of Israel, Kill ye each his men being bound to Baal-Peor.

And behold, a man from the sons of Israel went, and he will bring to his brethren a Midianitess before the eyes of Moses, and before the eyes of all the assembly of the sons of Israel; and they were weeping at the door of the tent of appointment

And Phinehas the son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, will see, and he will rise up from the midst of the assembly and will take a spear in his hand;

And he will go after the man of Israel to the tent, and will pierce the two of them, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly: and the smiting will be withheld from the sons of Israel.

And Jehovah will speak to Moses, saying,

So say to them that I will make with him an agreement of peace:

and it will be for him and his {offspring} after him a covenant of an eternal priesthood because he was jealous for his God and made atonement for the {Israelites}.'"

And Jehovah will speak to Moses, saying,

And it will be after the smiting, And Jehovah will say to Moses, and to Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, saying,

And Moses will speak, and Eleazar the priest, with them in the desert of Moab of Jericho, saying,

And the earth will open her mouth and will swallow them and Korah, in the dying of the assembly in the consuining of the fire, the fifty and two hundred men: and they shall be for a signal.

The sons of Judah, Er and Onan; and Er will die, and Onan, in the land of Canaan.

And the sons of Judah will be according to their families: to Shelah, the families of the Shelahites; to Pharez, the families of the Pharezites; to Zerah, the families of the Zerahites.

And the sons of Pharez will be, for Hezron, the families of the Hezronites; for Hamul, the families of the Hamulites.

And the sons of Bela will be Ard and Naaman; the families of the Ardites; to Naaman, the families of the Naamanites

And Jehovah will speak to Moses, saying,

To a larger group you will give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group you will give a smaller inheritance. To each one its inheritance must be given according to the number of people in it.

Surely the land will be divided by lot. They will inherit according to the names of the tribes of their ancestors.

Each inheritance will be divided by lot among the larger and smaller tribes.”

And the name of Amram's wife, Jochebed, daughter of Levi, who bare her to Levi in Egypt: and she will bear to Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

And will be born to Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and Eleazar and Ithamar.

And Nadab will die, and Abihu, in their bringing near strange fire before Jehovah.

And they being reviewed will be three and twenty thousand, every male from the son of a month and above: for they were not reviewed in the midst of the sons of Israel, for an inheritance was not given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.

For Yahweh said to them, "They will surely die in the desert." And not a man was left over from them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.

And there will come near the daughters of Zelophehad son of Hepher, son of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, for the families of Manesseh, son of Joseph: and these the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

And they will stand before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the chiefs, and all the assembly at the door of the tent of appointment, saying,

And Moses will bring near their judgment before Jehovah.

And Jehovah will speak to Moses, saying.

If his father has no brothers, then you must give his inheritance to his nearest relative from his own clan, and he will take possession of it. It will be as a decree of stipulation for the {Israelites}, just as Yahweh commanded Moses.'"

And Jehovah will say to Moses, Come up to this mountain of the regions beyond, and see the land which I gave to the sons of Israel

When you see it, you will be gathered to your people, just as Aaron your brother was gathered,

Will Jehovah, the God of the spirits to all flesh, appoint a man over the assembly,

who will go out before them and will come in before them, and who will lead them out and bring them in, so the community of Yahweh will not be like a flock that does not have a shepherd."

And Jehovah will say to Moses, Take to thee Joshua, son of Nun, a man in whom the spirit in him, and place thy hand upon him;

You will give to him from your authority so that the entire community of Israel will {obey him}.

He will stand before Eleazar the priest, who will ask for him by the decision of the Urim before Yahweh. On {his command} they will go out, and at {his command} they will come in, [both] he and all of the {Israelites} with him, the entire community."

And Moses will do as Jehovah commanded him; and he will take Joshua and will make him stand before Eleazar the priest, and before all the assembly.

And he will place his hands upon him and command him as . Jehovah spake by the hand of Moses.

And Jehovah will speak to Moses, saying,

"Command the {Israelites} and say to them, '{You will be careful to present} my offering, my food of my offerings made by fire, of a fragrance of appeasement to me, at its appointed time.'

You will say to them, 'This [is] the offering made by fire that you will offer to Yahweh: two male lambs without defect {in their first year} as a continual burnt offering each day.

You will offer one male lamb in the morning, and the second male lamb you will offer {at twilight},

The libation with it [will be] a fourth of a liquid measure for each male lamb; in the sanctuary you will pour out the libation of fermented drink for Yahweh.

And the second male lamb you will offer {at twilight}; as the grain offering of the morning and as its libation you will offer it, an offering made by fire, a fragrance of appeasement for Yahweh.

" 'And at the beginning of each of your months, you will present a burnt offering for Yahweh: two bulls and one ram, seven male lambs without defect {in their first year};

and one tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with olive oil as a grain offering for each lamb. This burnt offering will be a pleasing aroma, incinerated as an offering to the LORD.

Their libations will be half a liquid measure of wine for the bull and a third of a liquid measure of wine for the ram and a fourth of a liquid measure of wine for the male lamb; this [is] the burnt offering for every month for the months of the year.

And one male goat as a sin offering for Yahweh; it will be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering and its libation.

On the fifteenth day of this month there will be a festival; unleavened bread is to be eaten for seven days.

On the first day [there will be] a holy convocation; {you will not do any regular work}.

You will present an offering by fire, a burnt offering for Yahweh: two bulls and one ram and seven male lambs {in their first year}; they will be for you without defect.

For their grain offering, you will offer finely milled flour mixed with oil: three-tenths for the bull and two-tenths for the ram.
