'Others' in the Bible
So anyone who breaks one of the least of these commands and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever obeys them and teaches others to do so will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
"For if you forgive others their sins, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others, your Father will not forgive you your sins.
so that it will not be obvious to others when you are fasting, but only to your Father who is in secret. And your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
In everything, treat others as you would want them to treat you, for this fulfills the law and the prophets.
Then large crowds came to him bringing with them the lame, blind, crippled, mute, and many others. They laid them at his feet, and he healed them.
They answered, "Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.
For there are some eunuchs who were that way from birth, and some who were made eunuchs by others, and some who became eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who is able to accept this should accept it."
When it was about nine o'clock in the morning, he went out again and saw others standing around in the marketplace without work.
And about five o'clock that afternoon he went out and found others standing around, and said to them, 'Why are you standing here all day without work?'
A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.
"Woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You give a tenth of mint, dill, and cumin, yet you neglect what is more important in the law -- justice, mercy, and faithfulness! You should have done these things without neglecting the others.
"He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the king of Israel! If he comes down now from the cross, we will believe in him!
Others are the ones sown among thorns: They are those who hear the word,
Others said, "He is Elijah." Others said, "He is a prophet, like one of the prophets from the past."
They said, "John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and still others, one of the prophets."
Many spread their cloaks on the road and others spread branches they had cut in the fields.
He sent another, and that one they killed. This happened to many others, some of whom were beaten, others killed.
What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others.
He called his disciples and said to them, "I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the offering box than all the others.
In the same way even the chief priests -- together with the experts in the law -- were mocking him among themselves: "He saved others, but he cannot save himself!
Then Levi gave a great banquet in his house for Jesus, and there was a large crowd of tax collectors and others sitting at the table with them.
Treat others in the same way that you would want them to treat you.

He will come and destroy those tenants and give the vineyard to others." When the people heard this, they said, "May this never happen!"
The people also stood there watching, but the rulers ridiculed him, saying, "He saved others. Let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, his chosen one!"
I sent you to reap what you did not work for; others have labored and you have entered into their labor."
There was a lot of grumbling about him among the crowds. Some were saying, "He is a good man," but others, "He deceives the common people."
Others said, "This is the Christ!" But still others said, "No, for the Christ doesn't come from Galilee, does he?
Some people said, "This is the man!" while others said, "No, but he looks like him." The man himself kept insisting, "I am the one!"
Then some of the Pharisees began to say, "This man is not from God, because he does not observe the Sabbath." But others said, "How can a man who is a sinner perform such miraculous signs?" Thus there was a division among them.
Others said, "These are not the words of someone possessed by a demon. A demon cannot cause the blind to see, can it?"
The crowd that stood there and heard the voice said that it had thundered. Others said that an angel had spoken to him.
Jesus replied, "Are you saying this on your own initiative, or have others told you about me?"
There they crucified him along with two others, one on each side, with Jesus in the middle.
I tell you the solemn truth, when you were young, you tied your clothes around you and went wherever you wanted, but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and others will tie you up and bring you where you do not want to go."
But others jeered at the speakers, saying, "They are drunk on new wine!"
Annas the high priest was there, and Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and others who were members of the high priest's family.
When Paul and Barnabas had a major argument and debate with them, the church appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others from among them to go up to meet with the apostles and elders in Jerusalem about this point of disagreement.
But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming (along with many others) the word of the Lord.

Also some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers were conversing with him, and some were asking, "What does this foolish babbler want to say?" Others said, "He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods." (They said this because he was proclaiming the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.)
Now when they heard about the resurrection from the dead, some began to scoff, but others said, "We will hear you again about this."
But some people joined him and believed. Among them were Dionysius, who was a member of the Areopagus, a woman named Damaris, and others with them.
We sailed away from Philippi after the days of Unleavened Bread, and within five days we came to the others in Troas, where we stayed for seven days.
But some in the crowd shouted one thing, and others something else, and when the commanding officer was unable to find out the truth because of the disturbance, he ordered Paul to be brought into the barracks.
Then when Paul noticed that part of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, he shouted out in the council, "Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. I am on trial concerning the hope of the resurrection of the dead!"
Some were convinced by what he said, but others refused to believe.
You who tell others not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
If I am not an apostle to others, at least I am to you, for you are the confirming sign of my apostleship in the Lord.
If others receive this right from you, are we not more deserving? But we have not made use of this right. Instead we endure everything so that we may not be a hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
Instead I subdue my body and make it my slave, so that after preaching to others I myself will not be disqualified.
No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.
"Everything is lawful," but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is lawful," but not everything builds others up.
but in the church I want to speak five words with my mind to instruct others, rather than ten thousand words in a tongue.
Two or three prophets should speak and the others should evaluate what is said.
For we are not like so many others, hucksters who peddle the word of God for profit, but we are speaking in Christ before God as persons of sincerity, as persons sent from God.
I am not saying this as a command, but I am testing the genuineness of your love by comparison with the eagerness of others.
For I do not say this so there would be relief for others and suffering for you, but as a matter of equality.
Nor do we boast beyond certain limits in the work done by others, but we hope that as your faith continues to grow, our work may be greatly expanded among you according to our limits,
Some, to be sure, are preaching Christ from envy and rivalry, but others from goodwill.
Each of you should be concerned not only about your own interests, but about the interests of others as well.
Others are busy with their own concerns, not those of Jesus Christ.
bearing with one another and forgiving one another, if someone happens to have a complaint against anyone else. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also forgive others.
nor to seek glory from people, either from you or from others,
For we hear that some among you are living an undisciplined life, not doing their own work but meddling in the work of others.
Do not lay hands on anyone hastily and so identify with the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.
The sins of some people are obvious, going before them into judgment, but for others, they show up later.
Tell them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, to be generous givers, sharing with others.
And entrust what you heard me say in the presence of many others as witnesses to faithful people who will be competent to teach others as well.
Now in a wealthy home there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also ones made of wood and of clay, and some are for honorable use, but others for ignoble use.
But keep away from youthful passions, and pursue righteousness, faithfulness, love, and peace, in company with others who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves.
And since this was not done without a sworn affirmation -- for the others have become priests without a sworn affirmation,
And the others who became priests were numerous, because death prevented them from continuing in office,
At times you were publicly exposed to abuse and afflictions, and at other times you came to share with others who were treated in that way.
and women received back their dead raised to life. But others were tortured, not accepting release, to obtain resurrection to a better life.
And others experienced mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.
Do not return evil for evil or insult for insult, but instead bless others because you were called to inherit a blessing.
and if he did not spare the ancient world, but did protect Noah, a herald of righteousness, along with seven others, when God brought a flood on an ungodly world,
save others by snatching them out of the fire; have mercy on others, coupled with a fear of God, hating even the clothes stained by the flesh.
Repay her the same way she repaid others; pay her back double corresponding to her deeds. In the cup she mixed, mix double the amount for her.
