Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer from them that hate me, you that lift me up from the gates of death:

Turn you unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

And they who went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, You son of David, have mercy on me.

For he says to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
