But, hearing that Archelaus had succeeded his father Herod as King of Judea, he was afraid to go back there; and having been warned in a dream, he went into the part of the country called Galilee.

Now when Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the part of Judea that is beyond the Jordan;
And the most part of the multitude spread their garments in the way; and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.

I declare unto you, in whatever quarter of the world, this part of the gospel-history shall be related, what this woman has now done shall be there mentioned to her praise.

Now the Passover Festival and the Festival of Unleavened Bread were held two days later. And the leading priests and experts in the law of Moses were looking for a way to take Jesus by trickery and kill Him.
