And the people shall be as complainers, and it was evil in the ears of Jehovah; and Jehovah will hear, and his anger will kindle, and the fire of Jehovah will burn among them and will consume in the extremity of the camp.

So the people complained to Moses, “Give us water to drink.”

“Why are you complaining to me?” Moses replied to them. “Why are you testing the Lord?”

Why should a living son of earth complain, Let a man complain because of his sins?

But Abraham complained to Abimelech because of the water well that Abimelech’s servants had seized.

“Why do you complain and contend with Me?
You have all rebelled (transgressed) against Me,” says the Lord.

You, O Lord are [uncompromisingly] righteous and consistently just when I plead my case with You;
Yet let me discuss issues of justice with You:
Why has the way of the wicked prospered?

Who has woe? Who has sorrow?
Who has contentions? Who has complaining?
Who has wounds without cause?
Who has redness of eyes?

Why do you complain about your injuries, that your pain is incurable? I have done all this to you because your wickedness is so great and your sin is so much.

"If I've refused to help my male and female servants when they complain against me,

that our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no decay, no leading into captivity, and no complaining in our streets.

You complained among yourselves privately and said, "Because the Lord hates us he brought us from Egypt to deliver us over to the Amorites so they could destroy us!

“Woe (judgment is coming) to him who says to a father, ‘What are you fathering?’
Or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’”

Moreover, I heard Ephraim, that was led away captive, complain on this manner, 'O LORD, thou hast corrected me, and thy chastening have I received, as an untamed calf. Convert thou me, and I shall be converted, for thou art my LORD God.

Then the people complained against Moses: "What are we to drink?"

The whole congregation of the Israelis complained against Moses and Aaron in the desert.

But the people were thirsty there for water, so they complained against Moses: "Why did you bring us up from Egypt to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?"

And the LORD shall send upon thee cursing, going to nought, and complaining in all that thou settest thine hand to; whatsoever thou doest, until thou be destroyed and brought to nought quickly, because of the wickedness of thine inventions in that thou hast forsaken the LORD.

Now the LORD had closed her womb. Her rival would provoke her severely so that she complained loudly because the LORD had closed her womb.

but for a whole month until it comes out your nostrils and makes you vomit. This is because you've despised the LORD, who is among you, and you cried out in his presence by complaining, "Why did we ever leave Egypt?"'"

At this, the entire assembly complained, started to shout, and cried through the rest of that night.

Now the people along with their spouses complained loudly against their fellow Jews,

I became very livid when I heard their complaining and these charges.

And he hath thereto complained on thy servant unto my lord the king. But my lord the king is as an Angel of God: do therefore what seemeth best in thine eyes.

For I've said, "My bed will comfort me; my couch will ease my burdens while I complain.'

"I'm still complaining bitterly today; my hand is heavy because of groaning.

Behold: though I cry, yet violence is done unto me. I cannot be heard! Though I complain, there is none to give sentence with me.

For while I held my tongue, my bones consumed away through my daily complaining.
