"You Israelites are just like the Ethiopians in my sight," says the Lord. "Certainly I brought Israel up from the land of Egypt, but I also brought the Philistines from Caphtor and the Arameans from Kir.
For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, just as [grain] is sifted in a sieve, yet the least kernel shall not fall upon the earth.
"On the day you just stood by, when strangers carried away Jacob's wealth and foreigners entered his gates, casting lots for Jerusalem, you were just like one of them.
For, near, is the day of Yahweh, upon all the nations, - Just as thou hast done, shall it be done to thee, Thy dealing, shall come back upon thine own head.
Just as you have drunk from the cup of my wrath upon my holy mountain, They will drink, they will gulp it down, and they will be as if they had never existed!
So they cried out to the Lord, "Oh, please, Lord, don't let us die on account of this man! Don't hold us guilty of shedding innocent blood. After all, you, Lord, have done just as you pleased."
He prayed to the Lord and said, "Oh, Lord, this is just what I thought would happen when I was in my own country. For recognition of the Lord's sovereign majesty will fill the earth just as the waters fill up the sea.
The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
I said, "Just fear me. Receive correction, so that her dwelling won't be cut off, according to all that I have appointed concerning her." But they rose early and corrupted all their doings.

But my words and my statutes that I gave as commands to my servants the prophets did they not overwhelm your ancestors? And they returned to me: "The LORD of the Heavenly Armies acted toward us just as he planned to do in keeping with our lifestyles and in keeping with our actions.'"
And once more the messenger who was speaking with me, roused me up, just as a man might be roused up out of his sleep.
'Thus, just as I called and they would not hear, so they will call and I will not hear,' says Yahweh of hosts.
{And then}, just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so will I save you, and you will be a blessing. You must not be afraid; let your hands be strong!'"

Therefore shall they be mine, saith Yahweh of hosts, in the day for which, I, am preparing treasure, - and I will deal tenderly with them, just as a man, dealeth tenderly, with his own son who is serving him.
And ye turned back and saw between the just to the unjust, and between him serving God and to him serving him not
But Joseph her husband, because he was just a man and unwilling to disgrace her, was minded to put her away secretly.

Just then a woman who had been suffering from chronic bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the tassel of his garment,
because she had been saying to herself, "If I just touch his robe, I will get well."
Just as they were going out, some people brought up to Jesus a dumb man who was possessed by a demon;
Cure the sick, raise the dead, heal lepers, drive out demons. Give without payment, just as you received without payment.
he that receives a prophet in quality of a prophet, shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receives a just man, as such, shall receive the reward of the just.
The Son of Man came eating and drinking with others, and they say, 'Just look at Him! A glutton and a wine-drinker, a chum of tax-collectors and notorious sinners!' And yet wisdom is vindicated by her doings!"

He answered the person who told Him, "[Just] who is my mother? And who are my brothers?"
Great crowds gathered around Him so that He went and sat down in a boat [just off shore], while the crowd stood on the beach.
for I declare unto you, that many prophets and just men have desired to see what ye see, and have not seen it: and to hear what ye hear, and have not heard it.

Then His disciples came up to Him and asked, "Do you know that the Pharisees were knocked breathless to hear what you have just said?"
Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came and kept crying out,
but he answered, it is not just to take the childrens bread, and throw it to puppies.
And I also tell you, [although] you are Peter [i.e., a stone], it is on this rock [i.e., the truth you have just confessed] that I will build my church and [not even] the gates of the unseen place of departed spirits will win out over it [i.e., all efforts to stamp out the church by killing Christians will fail].
It was just after that that Jesus Christ for the first time clearly taught His disciples that He had to go to Jerusalem and submit to many forms of suffering at the hands of the elders, high priests, and scribes, and be killed, but be raised to life on the third day.
While he was still talking, suddenly a bright cloud engulfed them. Just then, a voice spoke out of the cloud, saying, "This is my dearly loved Son, who is very pleasing to me; listen to Him."
And as they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus ordered them, saying, "Do not tell anyone about the vision [you have just seen] until the Son of man has been raised from the dead."
But, I say unto you - that, Elijah, just now, came, - and they recognised him not, but did with him, whatsoever they pleased: Thus, the Son of Man also, is destined to suffer by them.
Just at that moment the disciples came up and asked Jesus, "Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?"
"Just so it is not the will of my Father in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
"And if your brother sins against you, go and show him where he wronged you, [but] keep it between just the two of you. If he listens to you [i.e., accepts your reasoning and repents], you have won your brother [back].
But, if he hear them amiss, tell it to the assembly, - And, if, even the assembly, he hear amiss, Let him be unto thee, just as the man of the nations and the tax-collector.
Just then Peter came to him, and asked him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?"
Jesus told him, "I tell you, not just seven times, but 77 times!
"'Ought not you also to have had pity on your fellow slave, just as I had pity on you?'
Just then a man came up to Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what good deed should I do to have eternal life?"
