But he did not want to, but rather he went [and] threw him into prison until he would repay what was owed.

The young man says to him, All these have I watched from my youth; what yet do I want?

Take [what is] yours and go! But I want to give to this last [person] [the same] as [I gave] to you also.

Is it not permitted for me to do whatever I want with [what is] mine? Or is your eye evil because I am generous?'

And he said to her, "What do you want?" She said to him, "Say that these two sons of mine may sit one at your right hand and one at your left in your kingdom."

They answered Him, “Lord, we want our eyes to be opened.”

And, if any one says anything to you, you are to say this-- 'The Master wants them'; and he will send them at once."

And he answered [and] said, 'I do not want to!' But later [he] changed his mind [and] went.

And he sent his slaves to summon those who had been invited to the wedding celebration, and they did not want to come.

For they bind heavy burdens and difficult to bear, and lay them on men's shoulders, but they do not want to move them with their finger.

Then they, in their turn, will answer 'Lord, when did we see you hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and did not supply your wants?'

Now on the first [day] of the feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came up to Jesus, saying, "Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?"

He [then] went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if this [cup of suffering] cannot pass away unless I drink it [i.e., experience the suffering], [then] let what You want be done."

Then the High Priest tore his robes. "This is blasphemy!" he exclaimed. "Why do we want any more witnesses? You have just heard his blasphemy!

So when they had assembled [for this purpose], Pilate said to them, “Whom do you want me to set free for you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”

So the governor answered [and] said to them, "Which of the two do you want me to release for you?" And they said, "Barabbas!"

saying, "We want you to say, 'Jesus' disciples came at night and stole his body while we were asleep.'
