'Tell' in the Bible
But when you are invited, go and sit down at the place of least honor. Then, when your host comes, he will tell you, "Friend, move up higher,' and you will be honored in the presence of everyone who eats with you.
When it was time for the banquet, he sent his servant to tell those who were invited, "Come! Everything is now ready.'
Because I tell all of you, none of those men who were invited will taste anything at my banquet.'"
In the same way, I tell you that there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over 99 righteous people who don't need to repent."
In the same way, I tell you that there is joy in the presence of God's angels over one sinner who repents."

Then he began to tell the people this parable: "A man planted a vineyard, leased it to tenant farmers, and went abroad for a long time.
He said, "I tell you with certainty, this destitute widow has dropped in more than all of them,
I tell all of you with certainty, this generation won't disappear until all these things take place.
because I tell all of you, I will never eat it again until it finds its fulfillment in the kingdom of God."
because I tell you, from now on I will never drink the product of the vine until the kingdom of God comes."
But Jesus said, "I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow today until you deny three times that you know me."
Because I tell you, what has been written about me must be fulfilled: "He was counted among the criminals.' Indeed, what is written about me must be fulfilled."
They said, "If you are the Messiah, tell us."
But he told them, "If I tell you, you won't believe me, and if I ask you a question, you won't answer me.
Jesus told him, "I tell you with certainty, today you will be with me in Paradise."
Then the two men began to tell what had happened on the road and how they had recognized him when he broke the bread in pieces.
