When Jesus saw large crowds around Him, He gave the order to go to the other side of the sea.

At that, the whole town went out to meet Jesus. When they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.

While He was reclining at the table in the house, many tax collectors and sinners came as guests to eat with Jesus and His disciples.

But Jesus turned and saw her. “Have courage, daughter,” He said. “Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that moment.

As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, shouting, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

When He entered the house, the blind men approached Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?”

“Yes, Lord,” they answered Him.

And their eyes were opened. Then Jesus warned them sternly, “Be sure that no one finds out!”

Then Jesus went to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness.

When Jesus had finished giving orders to His 12 disciples, He moved on from there to teach and preach in their towns.

Jesus replied to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see:

As these men went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: “What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind?

At that time Jesus passed through the grainfields on the Sabbath. His disciples were hungry and began to pick and eat some heads of grain.

When Jesus became aware of this, He withdrew from there. Huge crowds followed Him, and He healed them all.

On that day Jesus went out of the house and was sitting by the sea.

Jesus told the crowds all these things in parables, and He would not speak anything to them without a parable,

And they were offended by Him.

But Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his hometown and in his household.”

At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus.

Then his disciples came, removed the corpse, buried it, and went and reported to Jesus.

When Jesus heard about it, He withdrew from there by boat to a remote place to be alone. When the crowds heard this, they followed Him on foot from the towns.

“They don’t need to go away,” Jesus told them. “You give them something to eat.”

“Come!” He said.

And climbing out of the boat, Peter started walking on the water and came toward Jesus.

Immediately Jesus reached out His hand, caught hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Then Pharisees and scribes came from Jerusalem to Jesus and asked,

When Jesus left there, He withdrew to the area of Tyre and Sidon.

Moving on from there, Jesus passed along the Sea of Galilee. He went up on a mountain and sat there,

Now Jesus summoned His disciples and said, “I have compassion on the crowd, because they’ve already stayed with Me three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away hungry; otherwise they might collapse on the way.”

“How many loaves do you have?” Jesus asked them.

“Seven,” they said, “and a few small fish.”

Then Jesus told them, “Watch out and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Aware of this, Jesus said, “You of little faith! Why are you discussing among yourselves that you do not have bread?

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”

After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and his brother John and led them up on a high mountain by themselves.

Then Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it’s good for us to be here! If You want, I will make three tabernacles here: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Then Jesus came up, touched them, and said, “Get up; don’t be afraid.”

When they looked up they saw no one except HimJesus alone.

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, “Don’t tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

As they were meeting in Galilee, Jesus told them, “The Son of Man is about to be betrayed into the hands of men.

“Yes,” he said.

When he went into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, “What do you think, Simon? Who do earthly kings collect tariffs or taxes from? From their sons or from strangers?”

“From strangers,” he said.

“Then the sons are free,” Jesus told him.

At that time the disciples came to Jesus and said, “Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

When Jesus had finished this instruction, He departed from Galilee and went to the region of Judea across the Jordan.

“Which ones?” he asked Him. Jesus answered:

Do not murder;
do not commit adultery;
do not steal;
do not bear false witness;

Then Jesus said to His disciples, “I assure you: It will be hard for a rich person to enter the kingdom of heaven!

While going up to Jerusalem, Jesus took the 12 disciples aside privately and said to them on the way:

But Jesus answered, “You don’t know what you’re asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?”

“We are able,” they said to Him.

But Jesus called them over and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles dominate them, and the men of high position exercise power over them.

There were two blind men sitting by the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!”

Jesus stopped, called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

When they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives, Jesus then sent two disciples,

The disciples went and did just as Jesus directed them.

and said to Him, “Do You hear what these children are saying?”

“Yes,” Jesus told them. “Have you never read:

You have prepared praise
from the mouths of children and nursing infants?”

Jesus answered them, “I assure you: If you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you tell this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.

Jesus answered them, “I will also ask you one question, and if you answer it for Me, then I will tell you by what authority I do these things.

So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.”

And He said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

“Which of the two did his father’s will?”

“The first,” they said.

Jesus said to them, “I assure you: Tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you!
