I know your works, and your labor, and your patience; and that you can not bear those who are evil: and you have tried those who say they are Apostles, and are not, and have found them liars;

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, which are ready to die: for I have not found your works filled up in the sight of God.

And I wept abundantly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll, nor to look into it.

And in these days men shall seek death, and shall not find it: and they shall desire to die, and death shall fly from them.
