It is written in the Prophets, "And they shall all be taught of God." Therefore everyone who hears and learns from the Father comes to Me.

If a man receives circumcision on the sabbath day so that the Law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry at Me because I have made a man entirely sound on the sabbath day?

Then they sought to seize Him, but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

What saying is this that He said, You shall seek Me and shall not find Me, and where I am, you cannot come?

(But He spoke this about the Spirit, which they who believed on Him should receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Others said, This is the Christ. But others said, Does the Christ come out of Galilee?

Has the Scripture not said that Christ comes from the seed of David and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?

Is it not true that not any of the rulers or of the Pharisees have believed into him?

Does our law judge the Man before it hears Him and knows what He does?

They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search the scriptures and see that a prophet has not been raised out of Galilee.

But as they continued to ask Him, He lifted Himself up and said to them, He who is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone at her.

And hearing, and being convicted by conscience, they went out one by one, beginning at the oldest, until the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, as He taught in the temple. And no man laid hands upon Him, for His hour had not yet come.

But by what means he now sees, we do not know. Or who has opened his eyes, we do not know. He is of age, ask him. He will speak for himself.

His parents spoke these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.

Then they said to him again, What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?

He answered them, I have told you already, and you did not hear. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also desire to be His disciples?

From everlasting it was not heard that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind.

They answered and said to him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out.

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and finding him, He said to him, Do you believe on the Son of God?

And Jesus said to him, You have both seen Him, and it is He who is speaking with you.

Jesus spoke this parable to them, but they did not understand what it was which He spoke to them.

Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your Law, "I said, You are gods?"

And He went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John baptized at the first, and He stayed there.

(And it was that Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

He said these things; and after that He said to them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps. But I go so that I may awaken him out of sleep.

Now Jesus had not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met Him.

Then the Jews who were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw that Mary rose up hastily and went out, they followed her, saying, She is going to the tomb to weep there.

Then when Mary had come where Jesus was, seeing Him, Mary fell down at His feet, saying to Him, Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.

Then Jesus, groaning in Himself again, came to the tomb. And it was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

Jesus said, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of him who died, said to Him, Lord, by this time he stinks. For it is the fourth day.

And I know that You hear Me always, but because of the people who stand by I said it, so that they may believe that You have sent Me.

And he who had died came out, bound hand and foot with sheets, and his face was bound with a cloth. Jesus said to them, Untie him and let him go!

But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done.

Then the chief priests and Pharisees gathered a sanhedrin, and said, What can we do? For this man does many miracles.

And one of them, Caiaphas, being the high priest of that year, said to them, You do not know anything at all,

nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man should die for the people, and not that the whole nation perish.

And the Jews' Passover was near. And many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the Passover in order to purify themselves.

Then they sought Jesus, and spoke with one another as they stood in the temple, What does it seem to you, that He will not at all come to the feast?

And all the chief priests and the Pharisees had given commands, that if anyone knew where He was, he should make it known so that they might seize Him.

And finding an ass colt, Jesus sat on it; as it is written,

But His disciples did not know these things at the first. But when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him.

Then the crowd witnessed, those who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead.

And there were certain Greeks among those who came up to worship at the Feast.

Father, glorify Your name! Then there came a voice from the heaven saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again.

Then the crowd who stood by and heard said that it thundered. Others said, An angel spoke to Him.

But He said this, signifying what kind of death He was about to die.
