And Cain lay with his wife, which conceived and bare Enoch. And he was building a city and called the name of it after the name of his son, Enoch.

And Enoch begat Irad. And Irad begat Mehujael. And Mehujael begat Methusael. And Methusael begat Lamech.

Then said Lamech unto his wives Adah and Zillah, "Hear my voice ye wives of Lamech, and hearken unto my words, for I have slain a man and wounded myself, and have slain a young man, and got myself stripes.

And Jared lived a hundred and sixty two years, and begat Enoch:

and Jared lived, after he begat Enoch, eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

And Enoch lived sixty five years, and begat Methuselah.

And Enoch walked with God, after he had begot Methuselah, three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty five years,

and then Enoch lived a godly life, and was no more seen - for God took him away.

And he said unto him, "Take a heifer of three years old, and a she-goat of three years old, and a three year old ram, a turtle dove and a young pigeon."

And Abraham ran unto his beasts and fetched a calf that was tender and good, and gave it unto a young man, which made it ready at once.

and then fell sick and died, in a lusty age - when he had lived enough - and was put unto his people.
