But, the Lord Christ, hallow ye in your hearts, ready always for a defence, unto every one that is asking you a reason concerning, the hope within you, - nevertheless, with meekness and reverence:

but as ye share in the sufferings of Christ rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory also ye may hail him with exultations.

And if people who are trying to do right [i.e., Christians] are saved through [suffering] such difficulties, where will the ungodly and sinful person end up, [if not in hell]?
