'Along' in the Bible

we have unanimously decided to select men and send them to you along with our dearly loved Barnabas and Paul,

But Paul and Barnabas, along with many others, remained in Antioch teaching and proclaiming the message of the Lord.

After some time Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us go back and visit the brothers and sisters (believers) in every city where we preached the message of the Lord, and see how they are doing.”

But Paul did not think it appropriate to take along this man who had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not gone on with them to the work.

They had a sharp disagreement, so that they parted company. Barnabas took along Mark and sailed away to Cyprus,

So, passing along Mysia, they came to Troas.

And when she was baptized, along with her household, she pleaded with us, saying, “If you have judged me and decided that I am faithful to the Lord [a true believer], come to my house and stay.” And she persuaded us.

Then they spoke the message of the Lord to him along with everyone in his house.

Then he summoned two centurions and ordered, "Get 200 soldiers ready to leave for Caesarea at nine o'clock tonight, along with 70 mounted soldiers and 200 soldiers with spears.

But Lysias the commander came along, and with much violence took him out of our hands,

asking him to do them a favor against Paul, that he might summon him to Jerusalem. They were preparing an ambush along the road to kill him.

The next day, Agrippa and Bernice arrived with much fanfare and went into the auditorium along with the tribunes and the leading men of the city. At the command of Festus, Paul was brought in.

Do we not have a right to take along a believing wife, even as the rest of the apostles and the brothers of the Lord and Cephas?

And I do all this for the sake of the gospel, so that I may share in its blessings along with you.

Nevertheless, God was not well-pleased with most of them, for they were scattered along the ground in the wilderness [because their lack of self-control led to disobedience which led to death].

Now, while we are being judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so we won't be condemned along with the world.

When I arrive, I will send letters along with the men you approve to take your gift to Jerusalem.

Therefore, no one should treat him with contempt. Send him on his way in peace so that he may come to me, because I am expecting him along with the brothers.

Then after 14 years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along also.

The rest of the Jews joined him in this hypocrisy [ignoring their knowledge that Jewish and Gentile Christians were united, under the new covenant, into one faith], with the result that even Barnabas was carried away by their hypocrisy.

Now Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to present-day Jerusalem, because she is in slavery along with her children.

that he lavished on us, along with all wisdom and understanding,

He rendered the Law inoperative, along with its commandments and regulations, thus creating in himself one new humanity from the two, thereby making peace,

and having confidence of this, I know that I shall remain and abide along with you all, for your progress and joy in faith;

Then your rejoicing in the Messiah Jesus will increase along with mine when I visit with you again.

As I send him back, it's like I'm coming along with him.

So too with ships, great as they are, and often driven along by strong gales, yet they can be steered with a very small rudder in whichever direction the caprice of the man at the helm chooses.

Your sister church in Babylon, chosen along with you, sends you greetings, as does Mark, whom I regard as a son.
