For Jehovah will not cast off his people, Neither will he forsake his inheritance.

QOPH. I have called with my whole heart; answer me, O Jehovah: I will keep thy statutes.

For my brethren and companions'sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

For the sake of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.

But as for such as turn aside unto their crooked ways, Jehovah will lead them forth with the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel.

Jehovah will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy lovingkindness, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: Depart from me therefore, ye bloodthirsty men.
