because three are who are testifying in the heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit, and these -- the three -- are one;

and three are who are testifying in the earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood, and the three are into the one.

And you are to make no houses, or put in seed, or get vine-gardens planted, or have any: but all your days you are to go on living in tents, so that you may have a long life in the land where you are living as in a strange country.

Those that are near, and those that are far from you, shall mock you, who are infamous and full of tumult.

Happy are your men, happy are these who are your servants, who stand always before you, and who hear your wisdom.

and the passages are seized, and the reedy places are burnt with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

Not that we are trying to lord it over your faith, but we are workers with you to promote your joy, for in your faith you are standing firm.

For though there are that are called gods, whether in heaven or upon earth, (as there are gods many, and lords many)
