These are births of the heavens and of the earth in their being prepared, in the day of Jehovah God's making earth and heavens;

Also, I will certainly demand an accounting regarding bloodshed, from every animal and from every human being. I'll demand an accounting from every human being for the life of another human being.

I will establish my covenant with you: No living beings will ever be cut off again by flood waters, and there will never again be a flood that destroys the earth."

God also said, "Here's the symbol that represents the covenant that I'm making between me and you and every living being with you, for all future generations:

I'll remember my covenant between me and you and every living creature, so that water will never again become a flood to destroy all living beings.

When the rainbow is in the clouds, I will observe it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living beings on the earth."

And Abram passed along throughout the land, as far as the place of Shechem as far as the Teacher's Terebinth, the Canaanite being then in the land.

Then departed he thence unto a mountain that lieth on the east side of Bethel and pitched his tent - Bethel being on the west side, and Ai on the east - and he built there an altar unto the LORD, and called on the name of the LORD.

And Jehovah said unto Abram, after Lot's being parted from him, 'Lift up, I pray thee, thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art, northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward;

And they took Lot, Abram's brother's son with his goods, and went their way, - he, being a dweller in Sodom.

And the messenger of Jehovah will say to her, Behold, thou being great with child, and will bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Ishmael, for Jehovah listened to thy humiliation.

I, behold my covenant with thee, thou being father of a multitude of nations.

And the son of eight days shall be circumcised, every male of your generations being born in the house, and he bought with silver, from every son of the stranger which is not of thy seed.

He shall be circumcised with circumcising, he being born in thy house, and bought with thy silver: and my covenant was in your flesh for an eternal covenant

And Abraham is a son of ninety and nine years in the flesh of his foreskin being circumcised;

and Ishmael his son is a son of thirteen years in the flesh of his foreskin being circumcised;

And he said, I will, surely return, unto thee at the quickening season, - and lo! a son for Sarah thy wife. Now Sarah, was hearkening at the opening of the tent, it, being behind him.

Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?

And the Lord said, Why was Sarah laughing and saying, Is it possible for me, being old, to give birth to a child?

So the two messengers went in towards Sodom at eventide, Lot, being seated in the gate of Sodom, - so Lot beheld and rose up to meet them, and bowed himself with his face to the earth.

And when the dawn arose, the messengers will hasten upon Lot, saying, Rise up, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, being found, lest thou shalt be destroyed in the iniquity of the city.

And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the LORD being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

And Abraham shall call the name of his son being born to him, whom Sarah will bear to him, Isaak.

And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

And Abraham is a son of a hundred years in Isaac his son being born to him,

And the lad groweth, and is weaned, and Abraham maketh a great banquet in the day of Isaac's being weaned;

Abraham was very troubled about what was being said about his son,

And she will go and seat herself from over against., being far off as the bending of a bow: for she said, I will not see the death of the child. And she will seat herself from over against, and she will lift up her voice and weep.

And Abraham will lift up his eyes, and will see and behold a ram behind, being held in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham will come and take the ram and bring it for a burnt offering instead of his son.

Then took the servant ten camels, from among the camels of his lord, and went his way, - all the goods of his master being in his hand, - so be mounted, and went his way unto Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor.

And the man looking with attention at her, being silent to know whether Jehovah prospered his way or not

And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

and to the sons of the concubines whom Abraham hath, Abraham hath given gifts, and sendeth them away from Isaac his son (in his being yet alive) eastward, unto the east country.

And Abraham shall expire, and shall die in a good old age, and being. filled; and he shall be added to his people.

And Jacob had boiled pottage, - when Esau came in from the field, he, being famished.

And he will remove in that day the he-goats banded and patched, and all the she-goats speckled and patched; every one which being white on it, and every one black among the sheep, and he will give into the hand of his sons.

And in the sheep being feeble, he will not put in: and those being feeble, were to Laban, and those being strong, to Jacob.

Jacob was thinking, "I'll pacify him with the presents that are being sent ahead of me. Then, when I meet him, perhaps he'll accept me." So the presents went ahead of him, while he spent that night in the camp.

But if you do not agree to our terms by being circumcised, then we will take our sister and depart."

and the young man deferred not to do the thing, because he had delight in Jacob's daughter, - he, moreover being more honourable than all the house of his father.

and it cometh to pass, in her being sharply pained in her bearing, that the midwife saith to her, 'Fear not, for this also is a son for thee.'

And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried him.

These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report.

So she took off her mourning apparel, covered herself with a shawl, and concealed her outward appearance. Then she went out and sat at the entrance of Enaim, which is on the way to Timnah, because she knew that even though Shelah had grown up, she wasn't being given to him as his wife.

If you [are] honest, let one of your brothers be kept in prison {where you are now being kept}, but [the rest of] you go, carry grain for the famine for your households.

Then they said to each other, “Obviously, we are being punished for what we did to our brother. We saw his deep distress when he pleaded with us, but we would not listen. That is why this trouble has come to us.”

"The man who was in charge of the land spoke harshly to us," they said. "He accused us of being spies!

And Judah speaketh unto him, saying, 'The man protesting protested to us, saying, Ye do not see my face without your brother being with you;

Take double the [amount of] money with you, and take back the money that was returned in the opening of your sacks; perhaps it was an oversight.

The men were terrified as they were being taken to Joseph's palace. "It's because of that money that was returned to our sacks the first time we were brought to him," they reasoned. "He's seeking an excuse to attack us, enslave us, and confiscate our donkeys!"

"Relax," the manager said. "You can stop being afraid, now. Your God, the God of your father, has placed hidden treasure within those sacks for you. I've been paid in full." Then he brought Simeon out to them,

Then Joseph {hurried away}, {being overcome with emotion} toward his brother, and sought for [a place] to cry. Then he went into a room and wept there.

And Judah and his brethren came into the house of Joseph, he, yet being there, - and fell down before him to the earth.

And Judah will say to him, What shall we say to my lord? what shall we speak? and how shall we be justified? God found the iniquity of thy servants: behold we are servants to my lord, also we, also him the cup being found in his hand.

And he will say, Far be it for me to do this: the man in whose band the cup being found, he shall be servant to me; and ye, go ye up in peace to your father.

So we said unto my lord, We have an aged father, and the child of his old age a youth, - his brother, being dead, he alone, is left of his mother and, his father, loveth him.

And thou being commanded, this do ye; take to you from the land of Egypt, wagons for your little ones, and for your wives, and take your father and come.

So Joseph kept on accumulating all the money that was to be found throughout Egypt and Canaan in exchange for the grain that was being purchased. He stored the money in Pharaoh's palace.


The Angel [that is, the Lord Himself] who has redeemed me [continually] from all evil,
Bless the boys;
And may my name live on in them [may they be worthy of having their names linked with mine],
And the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac;
And may they grow into a [great] multitude in the midst of the earth.”

And he commandeth them, and saith unto them, 'I am being gathered unto my people; bury me by my fathers, at the cave which is in the field of Ephron the Hittite;

And he will say to his people, Behold, the people of the sons of Israel, many, being strong above us.
