For God does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

That food shall be for a store to the land against the seven years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt, so that the land does not perish through the famine.
Doesn't my master drink from this cup and use it for divination? You have done wrong!'"
And they said to him, Why does my lord speak such words as these? Far be it from thy servants to do such a thing!
Then you said to your servants, ‘If your younger brother does not come down with you, you will not see me again.’
After all, how can I go back to my father if the young man doesn't accompany me? I'm afraid of what might happen to my father."
And Joseph said to his brethren, I am Joseph. Does my father yet live? And his brethren could not answer him, for they were troubled at his presence.
All the direct descendants of Jacob who went to Egypt with him were sixty-six in number. (This number does not include the wives of Jacob's sons.)
So Joseph made it a law, still in effect today in the land of Egypt, that a fifth of the produce belongs to Pharaoh. Only the priests’ land does not belong to Pharaoh.

But if a spot [is] white on his body's skin and its appearance is not deeper than the skin and its hair does not turn white, then the priest shall confine the afflicted person [for] seven days.
But if the bright spot remains where it is and does not spread, it is the scar of the boil, and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
But if the bright spot remains in place, doesn't spread in the skin, and it's dull, it's the swelling of the burned area. The priest is to declare him clean, since it's the scar from a burn."
But if the priest examines the spot infected by the scale, and it does not appear deeper than the skin and there is no black hair in it, the priest shall isolate the person with the scaly infection for seven days.
On the seventh day the priest shall examine the diseased spot; if the scale has not spread and has no yellow hair in it, and the scale does not look deeper than the skin,
The priest will examine the scaly outbreak on the seventh day, and if it has not spread on the skin and does not appear to be deeper than the skin, the priest is to pronounce the person clean. He is to wash his clothes, and he will be clean.

So you shall keep My statutes and My judgments, by which, if a person keeps them, he shall live; I am the Lord.
Indeed, anyone who does any of these detestable things, even those persons who do so shall be cut off from the midst of their people.
Do not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land does not practice prostitution and become full of lewdness.
"'You must be sure to obey all my statutes and regulations, so that the land to which I am about to bring you to take up residence there does not vomit you out.
