For scarcely for the just man will one die, for perhaps for the good man some one might also dare to die;
Because of this, just as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death spread to all people because all sinned.
It follows then that just as the result of a single transgression is a condemnation which extends to the whole race, so also the result of a single decree of righteousness is a life-giving acquittal which extends to the whole race.
