Yes, this will result in my deliverance,for no godless person can appear before Him.

They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone. Yes, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.

No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal. Yes, the price of wisdom is above rubies.

He establishes the force of the wind. Yes, he measures out the waters by measure.

Then He saw wisdom and declared it;He established it and searched it out.

“Indeed, how could the strength of their hands profit me?Vigor had perished from them.

{A senseless crowd}, yes, {a disreputable brood}, they were cast out from the land.

“And now I have become [the subject of] their taunting;Yes, I am a byword and a laughingstock to them.

Then let me plant and [let] another eat [from the results of my labor],And let my crops be uprooted and ruined.

For that would be a heinous crime. Yes, it would be an iniquity to be punished by the judges:

(yes, I have not allowed my mouth to sin by asking his life with a curse);

“I even paid close attention to [what] you [said],Indeed, not one of you convinced Job [nor could you refute him],Not one of you supplied [satisfactory] answers to his words.

I too will answer;yes, I will tell what I know.

For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention.

“Then his soul draws near to the pit [of destruction],And his life to those who bring death (the destroyers).

[Elihu comments,] “Behold, God does all these things twice, yes, three times, with a man,

Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert justice.

Yes, Job, his eyes constantly watch the behavior of human beings; he carefully observes their every step.

Men of understanding will tell me, yes, every wise man who hears me:

Yes, God is mighty, but He despises no one;He understands all things.

Yes, he would have allured you out of distress, into a broad place, where there is no restriction. That which is set on your table would be full of fatness.

Yes, [it is] wrath, so that it will not incite you into mockery; and do not let [the] ransom's greatness turn you aside.

Yes, can any understand the spreading of the clouds, and the thunderings of his pavilion?

"Yes, at this my heart trembles, and is moved out of its place.

Yes, he loads the thick cloud with moisture. He spreads abroad the cloud of his lightning.

Who determined its measurement? Yes, you do know. Or who stretched [the] measuring line upon it?

I have spoken once, and I will not answer; Yes, twice, but I will proceed no further."

Yes, [the] mountains yield produce for it, and all {wild animals} play there.

Its heart is cast as stone; yes, it is cast as [the] lower millstone.

Rise up, Lord! Deliver me, my God! Yes, you will strike all my enemies on the jaw; you will break the teeth of the wicked.

if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me (yes, if I have delivered him who without cause was my adversary),

Let the enemy pursue me and overtake me;And let him trample my life to the groundAnd lay my honor in the dust. Selah.

Behold, he travails with iniquity. Yes, he has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.

All sheep and oxen,And also the beasts of the field,

You have seen it, for You have noted mischief and vexation (irritation) to take it into Your hand.The unfortunate commits himself to You;You are the helper of the fatherless.

The [boundary] lines [of the land] have fallen for me in pleasant places;Indeed, my heritage is beautiful to me.

Therefore my heart is glad and my glory rejoices. Yes, my body will dwell in safety,

And He rode upon a cherub (storm) and flew;And He sped on the wings of the wind.

He sent out his arrows, and scattered them; Yes, great lightning bolts, and routed them.

He rescues me from my enemies;Yes, You lift me up above those who rise up against me;You deliver me from the man of violence.

The sun’s rising is from one end of the heavens,And its circuit to the other end of them;And there is nothing hidden from its heat.

They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much fine gold;Sweeter also than honey and the drippings of the honeycomb.

Yes, your servant finds moral guidance there; those who obey them receive a rich reward.

Yes, wild dogs surround me -- a gang of evil men crowd around me; like a lion they pin my hands and feet.

Save me from the lion's mouth! Yes, from the horns of the wild oxen, you have answered me.

Lift up your heads, O gates,And lift them up, ancient doors,That the King of glory may come in.

Indeed, none of those who [expectantly] wait for You will be ashamed;Those who turn away from what is right and deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed (humiliated, embarrassed).

And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy;I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.

The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;Yes, the Lord breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

Yes, You are my rock and my fortress;For Your name’s sake You will lead me and guide me.

All my bones will say, “Lord, who is like You,Who rescues the afflicted from him who is too strong for him [to resist alone],And the afflicted and the needy from him who robs him?”

But they took pleasure in my trouble, and came together, yes, low persons came together against me without my knowledge; they never came to an end of wounding me.

They open their mouth wide against me, claiming, "Yes! Yes! We saw him do it with our own eyes!"

Don't let them say in their hearts, "Yes! We got what we wanted." Don't let them say, "We have swallowed him up."

Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. Yes, let them say continually, "Yahweh be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!"

For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. Yes, though you look for his place, he isn't there.

Yet he passed away, and lo, he was no more;I sought him, but he could not be found.

Yes, I am like a man who does not hear,And in whose mouth are no arguments.

You, indeed, have made my days short in length,and my life span as nothing in Your sight.Yes, every mortal man is only a vapor.Selah

Yes, for your sake we are killed all day long. We are regarded as sheep for the slaughter.

“I would wander far away,I would lodge in the [peace of the] wilderness. Selah.

For You have rescued my soul from death,Yes, and my feet from stumbling,So that I may walk before GodIn the light of life.

Be gracious to me, O God, be gracious and merciful to me,For my soul finds shelter and safety in You,And in the shadow of Your wings I will take refuge and be confidently secureUntil destruction passes by.

Then people will say,“Yes, there is a reward for the righteous!There is a God who judges on earth!”

From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak;Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help].

Yes, in the sanctuary I have seen you, and witnessed your power and splendor.

How blessed is the one you choose, the one you cause to live in your courts. We will be satisfied with the goodness of your house, yes, even with the holiness of your Temple.
