For he has put all things under his feet. But when he says all things are put under him, it is clear that he is excepted, who did put all things under him.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

Having the glory of God: and its radiance was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
