But that he raised him from among the dead, no more to return to corruption, he spoke thus: I will give to you the faithful mercies of David.

And some of those who were of the sect of the Pharisees, who believed, rose up from among them, saying that they ought to circumcise them and enjoin them to keep the law of Moses.

if by any means I shall provoke to jealousy them which are my flesh, and shall save some from among them.

For if their casting away be the world's reconciliation, what their reception but life from among the dead?

For I say, through the grace which has been given to me, to every one that is among you, not to have high thoughts above what he should think; but to think so as to be wise, as God has dealt to each a measure of faith.

and that the nations should glorify God for mercy; according as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the nations, and will sing to thy name.

And he is the head of the body, the assembly; who is the beginning, firstborn from among the dead, that he might have the first place in all things:

Let the elders who take the lead among the saints well be esteemed worthy of double honour, specially those labouring in word and teaching;

And they indeed from among the sons of Levi, who receive the priesthood, have commandment to take tithes from the people according to the law, that is from their brethren, though these are come out of the loins of Abraham:

And they shall not teach each his fellow-citizen, and each his brother, saying, Know the Lord; because all shall know me in themselves, from the little one among them unto the great among them.

counting that God was able to raise him even from among the dead, whence also he received him in a figure.

But the God of peace, who brought again from among the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, in the power of the blood of the eternal covenant,

have ye not made a difference among yourselves, and become judges having evil thoughts?

but the tongue can no one among men tame; it is an unsettled evil, full of death-bringing poison.

Who is wise and understanding among you; let him shew out of a good conversation his works in meekness of wisdom;
