Then the LORD God cast a slumber on Adam, and he slept. And then he took out one of his ribs, and in stead thereof he filled up the place with flesh.

And the LORD God made of the rib which he took out of Adam, a woman, and brought her unto Adam.

And they took them out of the midst of his tent and brought them unto Joshua and unto all the children of Israel, and poured them out before the LORD.

And the lyers-await rose quickly out of their places, and ran, as soon as Joshua had stretched out his hand, and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set it on fire.
