And do not be like your fathers and like your brothers who sinned against Jehovah, the God of their fathers, and He made them for a horror, as you see.

Behold, your house is left to you desolate.


And she said, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And he awoke out of his sleep and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he did not know that Jehovah had departed from him.

And when Saul inquired of Jehovah, Jehovah did not answer him, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

So I gave them up to the stubbornness of their own hearts; and they walked in their own conceits.


Then God turned and gave them over to serve the host of the heavens, as it is written in the book of the Prophets: "O house of Israel, have you offered to Me slain beasts and sacrifices forty years in the wilderness?



For My name's sake I will put off My anger, and for My praise I will hold back for you, that I do not cut you off.

to disobeying ones, when once the long-suffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared (in which a few, that is, eight souls were saved through water);

Do you see how Ahab humbles himself before Me? Because he humbles himself before Me, I will not bring the evil in his days. But in his son's days I will bring the evil on his house.

But I will not do it in your days, for David your father's sake, but I will tear it out of the hand of your son.

And Jehovah was gracious to them, and had pity on them, and had respect to them, because of His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And He would not destroy them, nor cast them from His presence as yet.

Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

And he said to the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig-tree, and find none. Cut it down, why does it encumber the ground? And answering, he said to him, Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and throw manure.

And if it bears fruit, well; and if not, then after that you shall cut it down.






because you sinned against Me among the sons of Israel at the Waters of Strife in Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not sanctify Me in the midst of the sons of Israel.

And Saul died for his sin which he committed against Jehovah, against the Word of Jehovah, which he did not keep, and also for seeking of a medium, to inquire, and

So righteousness tends to life; but one pursuing evil, it is to his own death.




How much more hateful and filthy is man, who drinks iniquity like water?

Though wickedness is sweet in his mouth, though he hides it under his tongue;

You love evil more than good, and lying more than to speak righteousness. Selah.

Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin with cart ropes;

So says Jehovah to this people; So they have loved to wander; they have not restrained their feet; therefore Jehovah does not accept them. He will now remember their iniquity and visit their sins.

You who hate the good and love the evil; who pull their skin off them, and their flesh from their bones;

And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie, so that all those who do not believe the truth, but delight in unrighteousness, might be condemned.


And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.





For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it killed me.






in whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,


Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to Jehovah, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.

if iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and do not let wickedness dwell in your tents;




And when her mourning was past, David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done was evil in the eyes of Jehovah.

For You are not a God that enjoys wickedness; nor shall evil dwell with You.


These six Jehovah hates; yea, seven are hateful to his soul:

And let each devise no evil in your heart against his neighbor; and love no false oath. For all these are things that I hate, says Jehovah.


Everyone transgressing and not abiding in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son.

The integrity of the upright shall guide them; but the crookedness of traitors shall destroy them.

Great is the Former of all, but he who hires a fool is like one who hires one passing by.

The eyes of Jehovah keep knowledge, and He overthrows the words of the transgressor.


From the fruit of his mouth a man shall eat good, but the soul of the treacherous eats violence.

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it. But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.

And it will be, from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh will come to worship before Me, says Jehovah. And they will go out and see the dead bodies of the men who have sinned against Me; for their worm will not die, nor will their fire be put out; and they will be an object of disgust to all flesh.


I will set no wicked thing before my eyes. I have hated the work of those who turn aside; it shall not hold on to me.

And He delivered righteous Lot, oppressed with the lustful behavior of the lawless.

Through Your Commandments I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

SAMECH: I hate half-hearted thoughts; but Your Law do I love.

For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is hateful to my lips.




You shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them. For I Jehovah your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the sons to the third and fourth generation of those that hate me,

And your sons shall feed in the wilderness forty years and bear your fornications, until your dead bodies have wasted in the wilderness.

For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are kept forever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you ruined your land and killed your people; the seed of evildoers shall never be famous.

The house of the wicked shall be overthrown, but the tent of the upright shall be blessed.




For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they lure through the lusts of the flesh, by unbridled lust, the ones who were escaping from those who live in error;

When I saw among the spoil a goodly robe of Shinar, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, I coveted them and took them. And behold, they are hidden in the earth in the middle of my tent, and the silver under it.


Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.




Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes; cease to do evil;

Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, Behold, you are made whole. Sin no more lest a worse thing come to you.

And she said, No one, Lord. And Jesus said to her, Neither do I give judgment. Go, and sin no more.





to a land flowing with milk and honey. For I will not go up in the midst of you, for you are a stiff-necked people, lest I consume you in the way.

Israel has sinned, and they have also broken My covenant which I commanded them, and have even taken of the cursed things, and have also stolen and pretended falsely. And they have even put it among their own stuff. And the sons of Israel could not stand before their enemies. They will turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become cursed. I will not be with you again, unless you destroy the one who is cursed from among you.



They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Jehovah; but they shall not find Him. He has withdrawn Himself from them.






And He is the propitiation concerning our sins, and not concerning ours only, but also concerning the sins of all the world.


But he not knowing, and doing things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whomever much is given, of him much shall be required. And to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.


Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of Jehovah concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do any one of them,

And if a soul sins, and he has done that which ought not to be done, any one from all the commands of Jehovah, and does not know, and he is guilty and bears his iniquity;

And now, brothers, I know that you did it through ignorance, as also your rulers did.


But He, full of pity, forgave their iniquity, and did not destroy them; yea, many times He turned His anger away, and did not stir up all His wrath.



You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people; You have covered all their sins. Selah.




And that servant who knew his lord's will and did not prepare, nor did according to His will, shall be beaten with many stripes.


Then He shall answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.




So says Jehovah, who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters; who brings out the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise; they are put out, they are snuffed out like a wick. Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. read more.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall sprout; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. The beasts of the field shall honor Me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give waters in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. This people that I formed for Myself; they shall declare My praise. But you have not called on Me, O Jacob; but you have been weary of Me, O Israel. You have not brought Me the lamb of your burnt offerings; nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not caused you to serve with an offering, nor wearied you with incense. You have bought Me no sweet cane with silver, nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; but you have burdened Me with your sins; you have wearied Me with your iniquities. I, I am He who blots out your sins for My own sake, and will not remember your sins. Cause Me to remember; let us enter into judgment; declare yourself, that you may be justified. Your first father has sinned, and your teachers have sinned against Me. And I will defile rulers of the sanctuary, and will give Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.

The wicked flee when no man pursues; but the righteous are bold as a lion. Because of the transgression of a land, many are its rulers; but it is prolonged by a man of discernment who knows right.

And I prayed to Jehovah my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and mercy to those who love Him, and to those who keep His commandments, we have sinned and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Your commandments and from Your judgments. Neither have we listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our kings, our rulers, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. read more.
O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us the shame of our faces, as it is today to the men of Judah and to the people of Jerusalem, and to all Israel who are near and who are afar off, through all the countries where You have driven them because of their sin which they have sinned against You. O Lord, shame of face belongs to us, to our kings, to our rulers, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You. To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him. We have not obeyed the voice of Jehovah our God, to walk in His Laws which He set before us by His servants the prophets. Yea, all Israel has transgressed Your Law, and turned aside, that they might not obey Your voice. Therefore the curse has been poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him. And He has confirmed His Words which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing on us a great evil. For under all the heavens it has not been done as it has been done to Jerusalem. As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this evil has come on us. Yet we did not make our prayer before Jehovah our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand Your truth. Therefore Jehovah has watched over the evil, and has brought it on us. For Jehovah our God is righteous in all His works which He does; for we did not obey His voice.








Who is a God like You, who pardons iniquity and passes by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not keep His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will turn again; He will have pity on us. He will trample our iniquities. Yea, You will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. You will give faithfulness to Jacob, mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm and Song of David. To You silence is praise, O God, in Zion; and to You is a vow paid. To You who hears prayer, all flesh comes. Things of iniquity are mightier than I; as for our transgressions, You shall purge them away.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and rich in mercy. He will not always chasten, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. read more.
For as the heavens are high above the earth, so is His mercy toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges; for in that in which you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things.

If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.




But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin and are convicted by the Law as transgressors.


He who despises his neighbor sins, but he who has mercy on the poor, happy is he.




When the wicked are multiplied, sin increases; but the righteous shall see their fall.




He who loves fighting loves transgression; he who makes his gate high seeks ruin.




Cast away from you all your sins by which you have sinned; and make you a new heart and a new spirit; for why will you die, O house of Israel?




All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not to death.
