It is enough for the disciple to be as his Master is, and that the servant be as his Lord is. If they have called the Lord of the house Beelzebub: how much more shall they call them of his household so?
Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And his brethren be called, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
And he called the people unto him, and said to them, "Hear and understand.
Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion on the people, because they have continued with me now three days, and have nought to eat: and I will not let them depart fasting lest they perish in the way."
