[This is] a record of the family background of Jesus Christ, the descendant of David, who was the descendant of Abraham. [Note: The following is an incomplete lineage through Jesus' step-father Joseph].

When Jesus saw it, He was indignant

Jesus, however, invited them:

He told those who were selling doves,
Afterward, Jesus found him in the temple and said to him,
Stop being surprised at this, for the time is coming when all that are in the graves will listen to His voice,
But Jesus said to them,
So Jesus answered,
And she said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn you. Go. Stop sinning from this point on."
"Stop being afraid, people of Zion. Look, your king is coming, sitting upon a donkey's colt!"
Simon Peter said to Him, "Lord, do not stop with my feet, then, but wash my hands and face too!"
Then after Judas left, Jesus said, "Now the Son of man is [being] glorified [Note: Being "glorified" involved Jesus' crucifixion, resurrection and ascension. The first step of this had now begun]. And God is [being] glorified through the Son's life.
