All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
And God has both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
The wife has not power over her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband has not power over his own body, but the wife.
Nevertheless he that stands steadfast in his heart, having no necessity, but has power over his own will, and has so decreed in his heart that he will keep her his virgin, does well.
There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Judge for yourselves: is it proper that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
