Let not them that trust in thee, O LORD God of hosts, be ashamed for my cause; let not those that seek thee, be confounded through me, O LORD God of Israel.

For the zeal of thine house hath even eaten me; and the rebukes of them that rebuked thee is fallen upon me.

But, LORD, I make my prayer unto thee in an acceptable time. Hear me, O God, in the multitude of thy mercy, even in the truth of thy salvation.

Hear me, O LORD, for thy loving-kindness is comfortable: turn thee unto me according to the multitude of thy mercies.

Hide not thy face from thy servant, for I am in trouble; O haste thee, and hear me.

{To the Chanter, of David, to bring remembrance} Haste thee, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O LORD.

But let all those that seek thee be joyful and glad in thee, and let all such as delight in thy salvation say always, "The LORD be praised."

As for me, I am poor and in misery; haste thee unto me, O God. Thou art my help, my redeemer, and my God: O make no long tarrying.

In thee, O LORD, have I put my trust; let me never be put to confusion,

I have leaned upon thee ever since I was born; thou art he that took me out of my mother's womb, therefore is my praise always of thee.

I am become as it were a monster unto many, but my sure trust is in thee.

Go not far from me, O God; my God, haste thee to help me.

Thy righteousness, O God, is very high, and great things are they that thou hast done; O God, who is like unto thee?

Therefore will I praise thee, and thy faithfulness, O God, playing on the lute; unto thee will I sing upon the harp, O thou holy one of Israel.

My lips would fain sing praises unto thee; and so would my soul whom thou hast delivered.

So foolish was I, and ignorant, even as it were a beast before thee.

Nevertheless, I am always by thee; thou holdest me by my righthand.

Whom have I in heaven but thee? There is nothing upon earth, that I desire in comparison of thee.

For lo, they that forsake thee shall perish; thou destroyest all them that commit fornication against thee.

Arise, O God, and maintain thine own cause; remember how the foolish man blasphemeth thee daily.

Forget not the voice of thine enemies; for the presumption of them that hate thee, increaseth ever more and more.

The waters saw thee, O God; the waters saw thee, and were afraid, the depths were moved.

Pour out thine indignation upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the kingdoms that call not upon thy name.

O let the sorrowful sighing of the prisoners come before thee; and according unto the power of thy arm, preserve those that are appointed to die.

And for the blasphemy wherewith our neighbours have blasphemed thee, reward them, O LORD, seven fold into their bosom.

So we, that be the people and sheep of thy pasture, shall give thee thanks forever, and will always be showing forth thy praise, from generation to generation.

Turn thee again, thou God of hosts, look down from heaven, behold and visit this vine,

And so will not we go back from thee; O let us live, and we shall call upon thy name.

When thou calledest upon me in trouble, I delivered thee, and heard thee, what time as the storm fell upon thee. I proved thee also at the waters of strife. Selah.

Hear, O my people; for I assure thee, O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me.

There shall no strange god be in thee, neither shalt thou worship any other god.

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt; open thy mouth wide, and I shall fill it.

He should have fed them also with the finest wheat-flour; and with honey out of the stony rock should I have satisfied thee."

For lo, thine enemies make a murmuring; and they that hate thee, lift up their head.

For they have cast their heads together with one consent, and are confederate against thee.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house; they will be always praising thee. Selah.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee, in whose heart are thy ways,

O LORD God of Hosts, blessed is the man that putteth his trust in thee.

Wilt thou not turn again, and quicken us, that thy people may rejoice in thee?

Preserve thou my soul, for I am holy; my God, help thy servant that putteth his trust in thee.

Be merciful unto me, O LORD; for I call daily upon thee.

Comfort the soul of thy servant, for unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

For thou, LORD, art good and gracious, and of great mercy unto all them that call upon thee.

In the time of my trouble I call upon thee; for thou hearest me.

Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O LORD, there is not one that can do as thou doest.

All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O LORD, and shall glorify thy name.

I thank thee, O LORD my God, with all my heart, and will praise thy name for ever.

He shall defend thee under his wings, that thou mayest be safe under his feathers: his faithfulness and truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

A thousand shall fall beside thee, and ten thousand at thy righthand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

There shall no evil happen unto thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

Who saveth thy life from destruction, and crowneth thee with mercy, and loving-kindness?

Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, making thee young and lusty as an Eagle?

These wait all upon thee, that thou mayest give them meat in due season.

saying, "Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance."

I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the people; I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

In the day of thy power shall thy people offer thee free-will offerings with a holy worship; the dew of thy birth is of the womb of the morning.

What aileth thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? And thou Jordan, that thou turnest back?

The dead praise not thee, O LORD, neither all they that go down into silence.

But we will praise thee LORD, from this time forth for evermore. Praise the everlasting! Hallelujah!

I shall find trouble and heaviness, and I will call upon the Name of the LORD, "O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul."

Turn again then unto thy rest, O my soul, for the LORD hath given thee thy desire.

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

I thank thee, for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

Thy words have I hid within my heart, that I should not sin against thee.

O establish thy word in thy servant, that I may fear thee.

At midnight stand I up, to give thanks unto thee, because of thy righteous judgments.

I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and keep thy commandments.

They that fear thee, will be glad when they see me, because I put my trust in thy word.

But let such as fear thee, and know thy testimonies, be turned unto me.

They continue this day according to thine ordinance; for all things serve thee.

Let the freewill offerings of my mouth please thee, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.

My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.

It is time for thee, O LORD, to lay to thine hand; for they have destroyed thy law.

Yea, even upon thee do I call; help me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.

Early in the morning do I cry unto thee; for in thy word is my trust.

Seven times a day do I praise thee, because of thy righteous judgments.
