So when he had summoned the crowd, and seated them upon the ground,
and taking the seven loaves and the fishes, when He had given thanks, He brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
And when he had sent the people away, he got into the boat, and came into the country of Magadan.
And [when] the Pharisees and Sadducees came to test [him], they asked him to show them a sign from heaven.
So he answered [and] said to them, "[When] evening comes you say, '[It will be] fair weather because the sky is red,'
and in the morning, a foul day: when the sky is of a dusky red. hypocrites, can ye judge of the appearance of the sky, and yet not discern the signs of these times?
And [when] the disciples arrived at the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.
and therefore when Jesus said to them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the pharisees and of the sadducees,
When Jesus understood that, he said unto them, "O ye of little faith, why are your minds cumbered because ye have brought no bread?
Do ye not yet perceive, neither remember those five loaves, when there were five thousand men, and how many baskets took ye up?
Neither the seven loaves, when there were four thousand, and how many baskets took ye up?
Why perceive ye not, then, that I spake not unto you of bread, when I said, 'Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?'"
Now [when] Jesus came to the region of Caesarea {Philippi}, he began asking his disciples, saying, "Who do people say [that] the Son of Man is?"
It is true when I tell you, some of those standing here will not die before they see the Son of man coming in His kingdom."
He was still speaking when a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice said, "This is my Son, the Beloved, in him is my delight: listen to him."
And [when] the disciples heard [this], they fell down on their faces and were extremely frightened.
And [when they] lifted up their eyes they saw no one except him--Jesus alone.
And when they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus gave them orders, saying, Let no man have word of what you have seen, till the Son of man has come again from the dead.
And [when they] came to the crowd, a man approached him, kneeling down before him
And Jesus answering said, 'O generation, unstedfast and perverse, till when shall I be with you? till when shall I bear you? bring him to me hither;'
Bring him here to me. And when Jesus rebuked him, the demon departed out of him, and the child was cured from that time.
Afterward, when he was alone, the disciples went to Jesus and said to him, "Why could we not drive it out?"
When they gathered together in Galilee, Jesus told them, "The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into the hands of men.
and they will kill Him, but on the third day He will be raised up [from the dead]." And they were very grieved [when they heard this].
Now [when] they arrived in Capernaum, the ones who collected the double drachma [tax] came up to Peter and said, "Does your teacher not pay the double drachma [tax]?"
He said, "Yes." And [when he] came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth collect tolls or taxes--from their own sons, or from foreigners?"
And [when he] said, "From foreigners," Jesus said to him, "Then the sons are free.
But so that we do not give offense to them, go out to the sea, cast [a line with] a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. And [when you] open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take that [and] give [it] to them for me and you."
When he had called a little child to him, Jesus set him among them, and answered.
"How does it seem to you, when a man has a hundred sheep and loses one of them? Will he not leave the ninety and nine on the hills, to go and search for the one that has strayed?
"If your brother sins, go and show him his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have regained your brother.
Then Peter came and said to Jesus, "Lord, how often must I forgive my brother when he sins against me? As many as seven times?"
And [when] he began to settle [them], someone was brought to him who owed ten thousand talents.
But when the slave went out he met a fellow-slave of his who owed him twenty dollars, and he caught him by the throat and began to choke him, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'
So [when] his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were extremely distressed, and went [and] reported to their master everything that had happened.
Upon that the master sent for the servant, and said to him 'You wicked servant! When you begged me for mercy, I forgave you the whole of that debt.
And it happened that when Jesus had finished these statements, he went away from Galilee and came into the region of Judea on the other side of the Jordan.
and he answered them, have ye not read, that when the creator, at the beginning, made male and female,
Jesus said to them, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives [only] because of the rebellious spirits you [Jews] had. But this was not how it was [intended to be] from the beginning [i.e., when God created one woman for one man].
And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and he that marrieth her when she is put away committeth adultery.
And when he had put his hands on them, he departed thence.
But [when] the young man heard the statement, he went away sorrowful, because he was one who had many possessions.
So [when] the disciples heard [this], they were extremely amazed, saying, "Then who can be saved?"
And Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you that in the renewal [of the world], when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me--you also will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
When he had contracted with the laborers at twenty cents a day, he sent them off to his vineyard.
So they went. When he went out again about noon and three o'clock that afternoon, he did the same thing.
When he went out about five, he found some other men standing there, and said to them 'Why have you been standing here all day long, doing nothing?'
And [when] evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his manager, 'Call the workers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last up to the first.'
And [when] the ones [hired] about the eleventh hour came, they received a denarius apiece.
And [when] the first came, they thought that they would receive more, and they also received a denarius apiece.
And [when they] received [it], they began to complain against the master of the house,
saying, 'These men [you hired] last have worked only one hour and you gave them wages equal to ours when we carried the heaviest load of the day's work and [put up with] the scorching heat [all day long].'
And when Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples on one side, and said to them,
and he said to her, what would you have? grant, said she, when you are upon the throne, that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left.
And [when] the ten heard [this], they were indignant concerning the two brothers.
And when they went out from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.
And behold, [there were] two blind men sitting beside the road. [When they] heard that Jesus was passing by, they called out, saying, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!"
When the crowd told them harshly to be silent, they shouted even louder, "Have mercy on us, Lord, Son of David!"
And when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,
Now this happened to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet when he said,
They led the ass and the foal back, and, when they had put their cloaks on them, he seated himself upon them.
And [when] he entered into Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, "Who is this?"
But [when] the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful [things] that he did, and the children shouting in the temple [courts] and saying, "Hosanna to the Son of David!" they were indignant.
Early next morning when He returned to the city, He felt hungry.
And when he saw a fig-tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing on it, but leaves only, and said to it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforth for ever. And immediately the fig-tree withered.
And [when they] saw [it], the disciples were astonished, saying, "How did the fig tree wither at once?"
And when he came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, saying, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?
For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did believe him. And [when] you saw [it], you did not even change your minds later [so as] to believe in him.
And when the time for the fruit came near, he sent his servants to the workmen, to get the fruit.
But when the workmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is he who will one day be the owner of the property; come, let us put him to death and take his heritage.
When, then, the lord of the vine-garden comes, what will he do to those workmen?
They say to him, He will put those cruel men to a cruel death, and will let out the vine-garden to other workmen, who will give him the fruit when it is ready.
And when his stories came to the ears of the chief priests and the Pharisees, they saw that he was talking of them.
And when they sought to seize him, they feared the multitudes, because they held him as a prophet.
The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who made a feast when his son was married,
And when the king heard of it he was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a guest's robe;
Show me the coin with which the tax is paid." And, when they had brought him a florin,
And [when they] heard [this], they were astonished, and they left him [and] went away.
"Teacher, Moses said [in Deut. 25:5] that when a man dies without having had any children, his brother must marry his widow and father children by her, who would [then] be considered his [dead] brother's.
Now there were with us seven brothers: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased; and having no issue, left his wife to his brother.
When they come back from the dead, then, whose wife will she be of the seven? because they all had her.
For when they come back from the dead there are no husbands and wives, but they are as the angels in heaven.
As for the resurrection from the dead, haven't you read what was spoken to you by God when he said,
And [when] the crowds heard [this], they were amazed at his teaching.
Now [when] the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they assembled at the same [place].
And when the Pharisees came together, Jesus asked them,
He asked them, "How then does David, under the guidance of the Spirit, call Him Lord, when he says:
15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites. For you travel around by sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much of a son of hell as yourselves.
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees--hypocrites!--because you travel around the sea and the dry [land] to make one convert, and when he becomes [one], you make him twice as much a son of hell [as] you [are]!
So are ye, for outward ye appear righteous unto men, when within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
For I tell you, you will not see me from now on until [the time when] you will be saying, 'Praise the one who is coming in the name of the Lord!'"
And when Jesus departed he was going from the temple. And his disciples came near to exhibit to him the buildings of the temple.
And while he was seated on the Mountain of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, Make clear to us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the world?
When that time comes, they will give you up to persecution, and will put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations on account of my Name.
When, then, you see in the holy place the unclean thing which makes destruction, of which word was given by Daniel the prophet (let this be clear to the reader),
And pray that it will not be in the winter or on a Sabbath day when you will have to flee [from the city]. [Note: Jewish Sabbath day restrictions on travel (only three-fifths of a mile) and city gate closures would make leaving the city nearly impossible].
And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the nations of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky in overwhelming power and splendor.
Now take an example from the fig-tree: when her branch has become soft and puts out its leaves, you are certain that the summer is near;
