'In the World' in the Bible

He was in the world,and the world was created through Him,yet the world did not recognize Him.

As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Before the Passover Festival, Jesus knew that His hour had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.

I am no longer in the world,but they are in the world,and I am coming to You.Holy Father,protect them by Your namethat You have given Me,so that they may be one as We are one.

Now I am coming to You,and I speak these things in the worldso that they may have My joy completed in them.

In fact, sin was in the world before the law, but sin is not charged to a person’s account when there is no law.

About eating food offered to idols, then, we know that “an idol is nothing in the world,” and that “there is no God but one.”

There are doubtless many different kinds of languages in the world, and all have meaning.

And most certainly, the mystery of godliness is great:He was manifested in the flesh,vindicated in the Spirit,seen by angels,preached among the nations,believed on in the world,taken up in glory.

Resist him and be firm in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are being experienced by your fellow believers throughout the world.

By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires.

But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now.

You are from God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
