[In fact] the waters became fifteen cubits higher [than the highest ground], and the mountains were covered.

Then the waters surged even higher on the earth, and all the high mountains under the whole sky were covered.

And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.

And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:

And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,

A light shalt thou make to the ark; and to a cubit high shalt thou finish it above. And the door of the ark shalt thou set in its side: with a lower, second, and third story shalt thou make it.

And he said, Behold, it is yet high day; it is not time that the cattle should be gathered together; water the sheep, and go, feed them.
