Rescue my life from [the] sword, my only [life] from [the] power of [the] dogs.

My Lord, how long will you watch? Restore my life from their ravages, my only [life] from [the] young lions.

Refrain from anger and forsake wrath. Do not fret; [it] only brings evil.

Against you, only you, I have sinned and have done this evil in your eyes, so that you are correct when you speak, you are blameless when you judge.

Only for God my soul [waits in] silence. From him [is] my salvation.

Only he [is] my rock and my salvation, my [high] stronghold; I shall not be greatly shaken.

They only plan to thrust [him] down from his high position; they are pleased [with] deception. With their mouths they bless, but {inwardly} they curse. Selah
