O my God, I call by day and you do not answer, and [by] night but I have no rest.

So I say, "{Oh, that} I had wings like a dove. I would fly away and be at rest.

O God, do not rest [silently]. Do not keep silent or be still, O God.

to give him rest from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.

Therefore I swore in my anger, 'They shall surely not enter into my rest.'"

For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest on the {land} of the righteous, lest the righteous stretch out their hands to do wickedness.
