As a dog that returns to his vomit, so is a fool who repeats his folly.

Have you seen a man who seems to himself to be wise? There is more hope for the foolish than for him.

By justice a king brings stability to a land,
but a man who demands “contributions”
demolishes it.

A man who says smooth things to his neighbour is stretching out a net for his steps.

Scornful people inflame a city, but those who are wise turn away wrath.

Bloodthirsty men hate him who is perfect, but the upright seek his soul.

A ruler who is attending to lying words, All his ministers are wicked.

A hated woman when she is married; and a servant-girl who takes the place of her master's wife.

the badgers [are] a people [who are] not mighty, yet they set their house on the rock;

a lion, mightiest of the beasts, who does not retreat from anything;

The greyhound; the he-goat also; And the king against whom there is no rising up.

Who so churneth milk, maketh butter; he that rubbeth his nose, maketh it bleed; and he that causeth wrath, bringeth forth strife.

Don’t spend your energy on women
