But when Peter came to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be condemned.
And the other Jews also dissembled with him, so that even Barnabas was carried away with their dissimulation.
As Abraham believed God, and it was imputed to him for righteousness.
And this I say, the covenant which was before confirmed of God through Christ, the law which was four hundred and thirty years after, doth not disannul, so as to make the promise of no effect.

Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, which could not perfect the worshiper as to his conscience,
Whence neither was the first testament consecrated without blood.
It was therefore necessary, that the patterns of things in heaven should be purified by these, but the heavenly things themselves by better sacrifices than these.
