and Moses standeth in the gate of the camp, and saith, 'Who is for Jehovah? -- unto me!' and all the sons of Levi are gathered unto him;

And Moses said, "{You are ordained} today for Yahweh, because each [has been] against his son and against his brother and so bringing on you today a blessing."

Go up to a land [of abundance] flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, because you are a stiff-necked (stubborn, rebellious) people, and I might destroy you on the way.”

For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

And Moses said to Yahweh, "See, you [are] saying to me, 'Take this people up.' But you have not let me know whom you will send with me, and you yourself have said, 'I know you by name, and you also have found favor in my eyes.'

And Moses said, If you yourself are not going with us, do not send us on from here.

For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

The Lord said, “Here is a place near Me. You are to stand on the rock,

Be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning on Mount Sinai, where you are to present yourself to me there on the top of the mountain.

No one may go up with you; in fact, no one must be seen anywhere on the mountain. Even the flocks and herds are not to graze in front of that mountain.”

and said, "If now I have found favor in your sight, O Lord, let my Lord go among us, for we are a stiff-necked people; pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for your inheritance."

Then God said, “Behold, I am going to make a covenant. Before all your people I will do wondrous works (miracles) such as have not been created or produced in all the earth nor among any of the nations; and all the people among whom you live shall see the working of the Lord, for it is a fearful and awesome thing that I am going to do with you.

Be careful for yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land to which you are going, lest it be a snare among you.

But their altars are to be overturned and their pillars broken and their images cut down:

"You are not to take any of their daughters for your sons. Otherwise, when their daughters prostitute themselves with their gods, they may cause your sons to prostitute themselves with their gods.

“Observe the Festival of Unleavened Bread. You are to eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib as I commanded you. For you came out of Egypt in the month of Abib.

All opening a womb are Mine, and every firstling of thy cattle born a male, ox or sheep;

A lamb may be given in payment for the young of an ass, but if you will not make payment for it, its neck will have to be broken. For all the first of your sons you are to make payment. No one is to come before me without an offering.

And you are to keep the feast of weeks when you get in the first-fruits of the grain, and the feast at the turn of the year when you take in the produce of your fields.

Three times a year all your males are to appear before the Lord God, the God of Israel.

"You are not to offer the blood of my sacrifice with anything leavened, nor are you to allow the sacrifice of the Festival of Passover to remain until morning.

"You are to bring the best of the first fruits of the ground to the house of the LORD your God. "You are not to boil a young goat in its mother's milk."

And it cometh to pass, when Moses is coming down from mount Sinai (and the two tables of the testimony are in the hand of Moses in his coming down from the mount), that Moses hath not known that the skin of his face hath shone in His speaking with him,

and Aaron seeth -- all the sons of Israel also -- Moses, and lo, the skin of his face hath shone, and they are afraid of coming nigh unto him.

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

For six days work is to be done, but on the seventh day you are to have a holy day, a Sabbath of complete rest to the Lord. Anyone who does work on it must be executed.

You are not to light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath."

'Give from among you a heave offering, unto the LORD. All that are willing in their hearts, shall bring heave offerings unto the LORD: gold, silver, brass:

And all who are wise-hearted among you shall come and make all that Jehovah has commanded:

He has filled them [with] skill of heart to do every work of a craftsman and a designer and an embroiderer with the blue and with the purple, with the crimson [yarns] and with the fine linen and a weaver; [they are] doers of every [kind of] craftsmanship and devisers of designs.

Bezalel, Oholiab, and all the skilled people are to work based on everything the Lord has commanded. The Lord has given them wisdom and understanding to know how to do all the work of constructing the sanctuary.”

And all the wise men, who are doing all the work of the sanctuary, come each from his work which they are doing,

and speak unto Moses, saying, 'The people are multiplying to bring in more than sufficient for the service of the work which Jehovah commanded to make.'

And Moses commandeth, and they cause a voice to pass over through the camp, saying, 'Let not man or woman make any more work for the heave-offering of the sanctuary;' and the people are restrained from bringing,

fifty loops he hath made in the one curtain, and fifty loops hath he made in the end of the curtain which is in the joining of the second; the loops are taking hold one on another.

two handles are to the one board, joined one unto another; so he hath made for all the boards of the tabernacle.

and they have been twins below, and together they are twins at its head, at the one ring; so he hath done to both of them at the two corners;

and there have been eight boards; and their sockets of silver are sixteen sockets, two sockets under the one board.

and he maketh for it four pillars of shittim wood, and overlayeth them with gold; their pegs are of gold; and he casteth for them four sockets of silver.

also its five pillars, and their pegs; and he overlaid their tops and their fillets with gold, and their five sockets are brass.

and the cherubs are spreading out wings on high, covering over the mercy-seat with their wings, and their faces are one towards another; towards the mercy-seat have the faces of the cherubs been.

and he casteth for it four rings of gold, and putteth the rings on the four corners which are to its four feet;

and he maketh the vessels which are upon the table, its dishes, and its bowls, and its cups, and the cups by which they pour out, of pure gold.

and six branches are coming out of its sides, three branches of the candlestick out of its one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of its second side;

three calyxes, made like almonds, in the one branch, a knop and a flower; and three calyxes, made like almonds, in another branch, a knop and a flower; so to the six branches which are coming out of the candlestick.

And in the candlestick are four calyxes, made like almonds, its knops, and its flowers,

and a knop under the two branches of the same, and a knop under the two branches of the same, and a knop under the two branches of the same, are to the six branches which are coming out of it;

their pillars are twenty, and their brazen sockets twenty, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets are silver;

and at the north side, a hundred by the cubit, their pillars are twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the pegs of the pillars and their fillets are silver;

and at the west side are hangings, fifty by the cubit; their pillars are ten, and their sockets ten; the pegs of the pillars and their fillets are silver;

The hangings on the side are fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three,

and at the second side at the gate of the court, on this and on that, are hangings, fifteen cubits, their pillars three, and their sockets three;

all the hangings of the court round about are of twined linen,

and the sockets for the pillars of brass, the pegs of the pillars and their fillets of silver, and the overlaying of their tops of silver, and all the pillars of the court are filleted with silver.

and their pillars are four, and their sockets of brass four, their pegs are of silver, and the overlaying of their tops and their fillets are of silver;

and all the pins for the tabernacle, and for the court round about, are of brass.

These are the things numbered of the tabernacle, the tabernacle of the testimony, which were counted, according to the commandment of Moses, by the service of the Levites, under the hand of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.

And a hundred talents of silver are to cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; a hundred sockets for the hundred talents, a talent for a socket;

And of the blue, and the purple, and the scarlet, they made coloured garments, to minister in the sanctuary; and they make the holy garments which are for Aaron, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

And they wrought onyx stones inclosed in ouches of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.

And the stones, according to the names of the sons of Israel, are twelve, according to their names, openings of a signet, each according to his name, for the twelve tribes.

And they will make two rings of gold, and will put upon the two ends of the breast-plate, upon its lips, which are to the other side of the ephod within it.

a bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, are on the hems of the upper robe, round about, to minister in, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.

and the covering of rams' skins, which are made red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering;

“You are to set up the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, on the first day of the first month.

You are to put the Ark of the Testimony there, and screen off the ark with the curtain.

And thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.

"You are to put the golden altar for incense in front of the Ark of the Testimony and then set up the screen for the doorway to the tent.

You are to put the altar for burnt offerings in front of the doorway of the tent of the Tent of Meeting.

You are to put the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it.

You are to set up the court all around, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court.

You are to take the anointing oil and anoint the tent and all that is in it. You are to consecrate it and all its furnishings and it will be holy.

"You are to anoint the altar for burnt offerings and all its utensils. You are to consecrate the altar and the altar will be most holy.

You are to anoint the basin and its base and consecrate it.

Then you are to bring Aaron and his sons to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting, and wash them with water.

You are to put on Aaron the holy robes; and you are to put oil on him, and make him holy, so that he may be my priest.

You are to bring his sons and clothe them with tunics.

You are to anoint them just as you anointed their father so they may serve me as priests. Their anointing is to qualify them to belong to a perpetual priesthood from generation to generation."

Give these orders to the children of Israel: When anyone of you makes an offering to the Lord, you are to take it from the cattle, from the herd or from the flock.

He is to slaughter the bull before the Lord; Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and sprinkle it on all sides of the altar that is at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

"Aaron's sons, the priests, are to bring the blood and sprinkle it around the altar that stands at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. He is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.

And Aaron's sons, the priests, are to put fire on the altar and put the wood in order on the fire:

Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, the head, and the suet on top of the burning wood on the altar.

But its inside parts and its legs are to be washed with water, and it will all be burned on the altar by the priest for a burned offering, an offering made by fire, for a sweet smell to the Lord.

And he is to put it to death on the north side of the altar before the Lord: and Aaron's sons, the priests, are to put some of the blood on and round the altar.

But the inside parts and the legs are to be washed with water; and the priest will make an offering of all of it, burning it on the altar: it is a burned offering, an offering made by fire, for a sweet smell to the Lord.

and then he is to eviscerate it and throw the viscera and the feathers to the east side of the altar, where the fatty ashes are located.

And you are to give the meal offering made of these things to the Lord, and let the priest take it to the altar.

“No grain offering that you present to the Lord is to be made with yeast, for you are not to burn any yeast or honey as a fire offering to the Lord.

You may present them to the Lord as an offering of firstfruits, but they are not to be offered on the altar as a pleasing aroma.

You are to season each of your grain offerings with salt; you must not omit from your grain offering the salt of the covenant with your God. You are to present salt with each of your offerings.

You are to put oil and frankincense on it; it is a grain offering.

"If someone's offering is a peace offering from the cattle, the presenter is to offer it without defect, whether the animal is male or female. They are to be brought to the LORD.

And he is to put his hand on the head of his offering and put it to death at the door of the Tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons, the priests, are to put some of the blood on and round the altar.

Then Aaron's sons are to burn them on the altar, over the burnt offering that has been placed on the wood over the fire, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

And he is to put his hand on the head of his offering and put it to death before the Tent of meeting; and Aaron's sons are to put some of its blood on and round the altar.
