Then David took hold of his clothes and tore them, and all the men with him did the same.

Now, may the Lord show kindness and faithfulness to you, and I will also show the same goodness to you because you have done this deed.

And there began an exceeding cruel battle that same day. But Abner and the men of Israel were put to the worse of the servants of David.

But he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died, stood still.

And Abner said the same things to Benjamin: and he went to David in Hebron to make clear to him what seemed good to Israel and to all the people of Benjamin.

And these Beerothites fled to Gittaim and sojourned there until the same time.

Nevertheless, David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.

Then said David the same day, "Whosoever smiteth the Jebusites, and getteth up to the gutters of the houses: smite the lame and the blind that hate David's soul." Wherefore they said, "The blind and the lame shall not come into the house."

And the LORD was wrath with Uzzah; and God smote him in the same place for his fault, and there he died by the ark of God.

And therefore will I play before the LORD, and will yet be more vile than so, and I will be meek in mine own sight: and of the very same maidservants which thou hast spoken of, shall I be had in honour."

But Absalom at the same time sent watchers through all the tribes of Israel to say, At the sound of the horn you are to say, Absalom is king in Hebron.

Besides, who else should I be serving? Why not the son? The same way I served your father, I'll serve you."

"The very same Absalom we anointed to rule just died in battle"!" "Now then, why remain silent about bringing the king back"?"

And he made an attack on an Egyptian, a tall man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a stick, and pulling the spear out of the hands of the Egyptian, put him to death with that same spear

Then Gad came to David on that same day and said to him, "Go up and erect an altar to Yahweh at the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite."
