Let my yoke be put upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble-minded, and your hearts will find rest,

For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
Let him not honour his father or his mother. Thus have ye made void the command of God thro' your tradition.
And he got the people together and said to them, Give ear, and let my words be clear to you:
Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

As they were descending the mountain, Jesus laid a command upon them. "Tell no one," He said, "of the sight you have seen till the Son of Man has risen from among the dead."
And Jesus, answering, said, O false and foolish generation, how long will I be with you? how long will I put up with you? let him come here to me.

But that person who causes one of these little ones [i.e., humble followers of the Lord] who believes in me to be led astray [from God], he would have been better off to have had a huge millstone tied around his neck and dumped into a deep ocean [Note: This "millstone" was a heavy circular stone rolled over grain to crush it and was moved by an animal walking in a circle].
And if your hand or your foot is a cause of trouble, let it be cut off and put it away from you: it is better for you to go into life with the loss of a hand or a foot than, having two hands or two feet, to go into the eternal fire.
And if thine eye lead thee to offend, pluck it out and cast it from thee, for it were better for thee to enter into life with one eye only, than having two eyes to be cast into hell-fire.
Let it not seem to you that one of these little ones is of no value; for I say to you that in heaven their angels see at all times the face of my Father in heaven.

But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
When his fellow-servants saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed, and went to their master and laid the whole matter before him.
Then his lord, having called him, said unto him, O thou evil servant, I let go to you all that debt since thou besoughtest me:
So also will my heavenly Father do to you, if ye let not go each to his brother from your hearts their falls.
Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
He says to them, Moses, because of your hard hearts, let you put away your wives: but it has not been so from the first.
For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.
Jesus however said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for it is to those who are childlike that the Kingdom of the Heavens belongs."
And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.
Then Peter having answered, said to him, Behold, we have let go all things, and have followed thee; what therefore shall be to us?
And when evening came, the lord of the vine-garden said to his manager, Let the workers come, and give them their payment, from the last to the first.

and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
when the king was informed of this, he was greatly incensed, and having order'd his forces to march, he put those murderers to death, and laid their city in ashes.
And those servants having gone out into the ways, led in all whom they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests.

But let the greatest among you be your servant.
Woe to you, you impious scribes and Pharisees! you shut the Realm of heaven in men's faces; you neither enter yourselves, nor will you let those enter who are on the point of entering.
