What we do see is Jesus, who was made for a time a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor, because of the suffering of death, in order that through God's grace he might taste death for every man.
And it is through his doing of God's will that we have been once for all purified from sin through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ in sacrifice.
By God's power we will conquer; he will trample down our enemies.
Now we know that God's judgment justly falls on those who practice such sins as these.
But what does it say? "God's message is close to you, on your very lips and in your heart"; that is, the message about faith which we preach.
But if anyone wants to argue about this, we do not have any custom like this, nor do any of God's churches.
