After they had gone three or four miles they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near to the boat; and they had great fear.
And after this they were glad to take him into the boat; and the boat at once arrived off the shore, for which they had been making.
The day after, the people who were on the other side of the sea saw that only one small boat had been there, that Jesus had not gone in that boat with the disciples, but that the disciples had gone away by themselves.

And when they continued asking him, after standing erect, he said to them, Let the innocent man of you first cast the stone at her.
but they who heard that, being convicted by their own conscience, they all went old and young one after another, so that Jesus was left alone with the woman, who still kept her place.

And he that was dead, came forth bound hand and foot, with grave bonds after the manner as they were wont to bind their dead withal. And his face was bound with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, "Loose him, and let him go."
Mary therefore, after taking a pound of ointment of very costly genuine spikenard, anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled of the aroma of the ointment.
The day after, a great number of people who were there for the feast, when they had the news that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
His disciples at the time did not understand this, but after Jesus was glorified, they remembered that this had been written about Him and that they had fulfilled it in His case.

Then after Judas left, Jesus said, "Now the Son of man is [being] glorified [Note: Being "glorified" involved Jesus' crucifixion, resurrection and ascension. The first step of this had now begun]. And God is [being] glorified through the Son's life.
Simon Peter says to him, Lord, where goest thou? Jesus answered him, Where I go thou canst not follow me now, but thou shalt follow me after.
After a little while [longer] the world will not see me anymore, but you men will see me. Because I [will continue to] live, you will live also.
When that day comes [i.e., after His ascension ?], you will know that I am in [fellowship with] the Father, and that you are in [fellowship with] me, and that I am in you [i.e., through the Holy Spirit].
After this I will not say much to you, because the ruler of this world comes: and he has no power over me;
"After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: For I go to the father."
Then said some of his disciples between themselves, "What is this that he saith unto us, 'After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me: and that I go to the father?'"
They said therefore, "What is this that he saith, 'After a while?' We cannot tell what he saith."
Jesus perceived that they would ask him, and said unto them, "This is it that ye enquire of between yourselves, that I said, 'After a while ye shall not see me, and again after a while ye shall see me.'
At that time [i.e., after my resurrection], you will not be asking me [for] anything. Truly, truly, I tell you, if you will ask the Father for anything [then], in my name [i.e., by my authority], He will give it to you.
Behold, the hour is coming, yea, it is already come, that ye shall be dispersed, each after his own concerns, and shall leave me alone: though I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
After saying these things, Jesus looked up to heaven and said, "Father, the time has come; honor your Son so that your Son may honor you.

Judas then after he had received a bond of men, and ministers of the high priests, and of the Pharisees, came thither with lanterns, and firebrands, and weapons.

"So you are a King after all!" exclaimed Pilate. "Yes, it is true I am a King," answered Jesus. "I was born for this, I have come into the world for this--to bear testimony to the Truth. Every one who is on the side of Truth listens to my voice."

After he had said this, he went out to the Jews again and told them, “I find no grounds
They kept coming up to him and saying: "Long live the King of the Jews!" and they gave him blow after blow with their hands.

After saying this, Jesus showed them His hands and His side, so they rejoiced when they saw the Lord [i.e., now convinced that He had indeed risen from the dead].
After saying this, He breathed on them
And after eight days, again were his disciples within, and Thomas with them; Jesus cometh, the doors having been shut, and he stood in the midst, and said, 'Peace to you!'
After that said he to Thomas, "Bring thy finger hither and see my hands, and bring thy hand and thrust it into my side, and be not faithless, but believing."
After this, Jesus revealed

After they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, are you more devoted to me than you are to these things?" Peter answered Him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I tenderly love you." Jesus said to him, "Then feed my lambs."
He said this to signify by what kind of death
Then Peter, turning round, saw the disciple who was dear to Jesus coming after them--the disciple who was resting on his breast at the last meal, and said, Lord, who is it who will be false to you?
Jesus said to him, If it is my desire for him to be here till I come back, what is that to you? come yourself after me.
Now there are also many other [things] that Jesus did, which--if they were written down one after the other--I suppose not even the world itself could contain the books that would be written.
