He will not keep alive one who is wicked, but gives right to the afflicted.

If your cry for help is set in order, then it will not be in distress, but with all the forces of strength.

Behold, God is exalted in His power; who teaches like Him?

Behold, God is great, and we do not know; the number of His years cannot be searched out.

its thunder declares concerning Him, and the cattle, concerning what is coming.

After it a voice roars; He thunders with the voice of His majesty, and He will not hold them when His voice is heard.

By the breath of God ice is given; and the expanse of waters is frozen tight.

and it is turned around by His guidance, so that they may do whatever He commands them on the face of the world in the earth.

Whether as a whip, or for His land, or for mercy, He finds it.

Do you know the balancing of the clouds, the wonderful works of Him who is perfect in knowledge?

You whose clothes warm when He quiets the earth from the south wind?

Teach us what we shall say to Him; for because of darkness we cannot arrange our case.

And now men cannot look upon the light; it is in the clouds; but the wind passes and clears them.

Golden splendor comes out of the north; God is awesome in His majesty.

The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, is exalted in power; and to judgment and overflowing righteousness He does no violence.

Therefore, men fear Him; He does not respect any who are wise in heart.

Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it broke forth as it came from the womb?

It is turned like clay under a seal; and they stand forth like a garment.

And from the wicked their light is withheld, and the high arm shall be broken.

Where is the way where light dwells? And where is the place of darkness,

You know, because you were born then. And the number of your days is great.

How is it, the way the light is distributed, and how does the east wind spread itself on the earth?

to cause rain to fall on the earth where no man is, a wilderness and no man in it;

Out of whose womb came the ice? And the frost of the heavens, who fathered it?

The waters are hidden like stone, and the face of the deep is frozen.

Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?

She treats her young roughly, as if not hers; for her labor is vanity without fear;

Can you make him leap like a locust? The glory of his snorting is terrifying.

He counts iron as straw, bronze as rotten wood.

Darts are counted as straw; he laughs at the shaking of a javelin.

On earth there is nothing like him, one made without fear.

He beholds all high things; he is a king over all the sons of pride.

I know that You can do all, and not any purpose is withheld from You.

My eye is dim because of grief; it wastes away because of all my enemies.

O Jehovah my God, if I have done this; if there is iniquity in my hands;

what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man, that You visit him?

O Jehovah, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth!

The nations have sunk down in the pit that they made; their foot is caught in the net which they hid.

Jehovah is known. He has executed judgment; the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. A meditation. Selah.

Through the pride of his face the wicked will not seek Him; There is no God in all his schemes.

His ways are always perverted; Your judgments are high, out of his sight. As for all his enemies, he puffs at them.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud; under his tongue are mischief and vanity.

Jehovah is King forever and ever; the nations have perished out of His land.

Jehovah is in His holy temple; Jehovah's throne is in Heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids examine the children of men.

that has said, With our tongue we shall do much; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?

The wicked walk on every side, when vileness is praised by the sons of men.

All have gone aside, together they are filthy; there is none who does good, no, not one.

Have all the workers of iniquity not known, eating up My people as they eat bread? They have not called on Jehovah.

There they were in great fear; for God is in the generation of the righteous.

You have shamed the counsel of the poor, because Jehovah is his refuge.

in whose eyes the reprobate is despised, but he honors those who fear Jehovah; he has sworn to his hurt, and does not change it;

As to the saints in the earth, they are the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

Jehovah is the portion of my inheritance, and of my cup; You shall uphold my lot.

I have set Jehovah always before Me; because He is at My right hand, I shall not be moved.

Therefore My heart is glad, and My glory rejoices; My flesh also shall rest in hope;

You will make Me know the way of life; in Your presence is fullness of joys. At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

A Prayer of David. Hear the right, O Jehovah; listen to my cry; Give ear to my prayer, for it is not in lips of deceit.

Keep me as the pupil, the daughter of the eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings,

their likeness is like a lion that longs to tear, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.

from men by Your hand, O Jehovah, from men of the world whose portion is in this life, and whose belly You fill with Your treasure. They are satisfied with sons, and will leave their riches to their babes.

As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I shall be satisfied with Your image.

Jehovah is my strength, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock; I will trust in Him; He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
