But he answered: Who is my mother? Who are my brothers? He stretched out his hand towards his disciples, and said: Behold, my mother and my brothers! For everyone who does the will of my Father who is in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in their midst.

Whoever receives a little child in my name, receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.

He answered, My mother and my brother are these who hear the word of God, and do it.

Jesus answered: If a man loves me, he will obey my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and dwell with him.

Remain with me, and I with you. The branch cannot bear fruit by itself. It must remain on the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain with me. I am the vine and you are the branches. He that remains with me, and I with him, the same bears much fruit. You can do nothing apart from me.

If you remain with me, and my words remain with you, ask whatever you will, and it will be done for you.

May they all be united (in agreement) as one. Just as you, Father, are with me, and I am with you. Help them be united with us! That way the world may believe that you sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me in order that they may be one even as we are one. I with them, and you with me, that they may accomplish complete unity. That way the world may know that you sent me and that you love them just as you love me.

I have made your name known, and will make it known. That way your love for me may be with them and I may be with them.

Brothers, you also died to the law through the body of Christ; that you should be joined to another, even to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bring forth fruit to God.

Those who live through (in union with) (because of) Jesus Christ have no condemnation. [They do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.]

If Christ is with you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit is life on account of righteousness.

If children, then heirs of God, and joint heirs with Christ. If indeed we suffer with him we may also be glorified with him.

Some of the branches are broken off. You, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them. Therefore you partake of the root and fatness of the olive tree with them.

These many members are one body in Christ, and every one, individually, is a member one of the other.

God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Foods are for the belly, and the belly for foods, but God will destroy both of them. Now the body is not for fornication but for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body. God has resurrected the Lord, and will also resurrect us by his own power. Do you not know that your bodies are the members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ, and unite them with (turn them into) the members of a prostitute? God forbid!

He who is joined to the Lord is one (united with him in) spirit.

The cup of blessing we bless, is it not the sharing of the blood of Christ? The bread we break, is it not the sharing of the body of Christ?

For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many and are one body, so also is Christ.

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually.

For I am zealous over you with a godly fervor (ardor) (zeal)! For I promised you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.

Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith. Prove your own selves. Do you not know this about yourselves that Jesus Christ is with you, unless you are disqualified?

And we are members of his body!

It was God's will to make known his secret to the people of the nations, this rich and glorious secret that he has for people. The secret is that Christ is in union with you, which means that you will share in his glory.

For you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

For God has not appointed us to experience his wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ. He died for us, that, whether we are awake in this life or sleep in death, we should live together with him.

Both he who sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all from one. For this reason Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.

He that says he lives in union with him should walk as he walked.

As for you, let that live in you, which you heard from the beginning. If that which you heard from the beginning lives in you, you will also live in the Son, and in the Father.

Now, my little children dwell (Greek: meno: stay, dwell, be present) with him. If he shall be made known we may have boldness, and not be ashamed before him at his coming (presence) (being near).

Whoever abides in him does not sin. Whoever sins has not seen him and does not know him.

The one who obeys God's commandments lives in God, and God lives in (with) Him. We know that He lives in (with) us by the Spirit He gave us.

We know that we live with him and he with us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

He who has the Son has the life. He who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding. We know him that is true for we are in him who is true, [and] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and everlasting life.

Whoever pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of Christ, does not have God! He who dwells in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and dine with him, and he with me.
