'Labour' in the Bible
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Therefore, my dearly-loved friends, as I have always found you obedient, labour earnestly with fear and trembling--not merely as though I were present with you, but much more now since I am absent from you--labour earnestly, I say, to make sure of your own salvation.
Whatsoever ye do, labour at it heartily, as doing it to the Lord, and not to men;
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
So then, as we have opportunity, let us labour for the good of all, and especially of those who belong to the household of the faith.
{A Song of degrees for Solomon.} Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.

And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
The desire of the slothful killeth him; for his hands refuse to labour.
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

And all the labour of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was ended; and the children of Israel had done it according to all that Jehovah had commanded Moses so had they done it.
