So Abraham prayed unto God; and God healed Abimelech and his wife and his maidservants; and they bore children. For the LORD had completely closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech because of Sarah, Abraham's wife.

And the Angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great vision, why the bush is not burnt. read more. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses fled from before it. And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth thy hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand.

And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto thy voice, that thou shalt take of the water of the river and pour it upon the dry land; and the water which thou takest out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

And Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses and did the signs before the eyes of the people.

So Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did as the LORD had commanded; and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his slaves, and it became a dragon.

And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and lifting up the rod, he smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh and in the sight of his slaves; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs of the houses, of the villages, and of the fields died.

And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

For if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee and upon thy slaves and upon thy people and into thy houses; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of all kinds of flies and also the ground upon which they are. And I will separate in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no kind of flies shall be there to the end that thou may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth. read more. And I will put redemption between my people and thy people. Tomorrow shall this sign be. And the LORD did so: that there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh and into his slaves' houses and into all the land of Egypt; and the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies. Then Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land of Egypt. And Moses replied, It is not convenient to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, will they not stone us? We will go three days' journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the LORD our God as he has said unto us. And Pharaoh said, I will let you go that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away; pray for me. And Moses answered, Behold, as I go out from thy presence, I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his slaves, and from his people tomorrow; if Pharaoh will not deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD. Then Moses went out from Pharaoh, and prayed unto the LORD. And the LORD did according to the word of Moses, and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his slaves, and from his people; there remained not one.

behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy livestock which are in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the cows, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous pestilence. And the LORD shall separate between the livestock of Israel and the livestock of Egypt so that nothing shall die of all that is of the sons of Israel. read more. And they took the soot of the furnace and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and boils breaking forth with blisters came upon man and upon beast until the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boils were upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven, and the LORD raised his voice and it hailed, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

And Moses went out from the presence of Pharaoh and out of the city and extended his hands unto the LORD; and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the borders of Egypt.

And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven, and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days.

And Moses replied, Thou hast spoken well, I will not see thy face again.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. Then the sons of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thy hand over the sea that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen. And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned in its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. read more. And the waters returned, and covered the chariots and the horsemen and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

And they came to Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there by the waters.

Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb, and thou shalt smite the rock, and water shall come out of it that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed; but when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. And Moses' hands were heavy, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat upon it; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side and the other on the other side; thus his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. read more. And on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle over the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there was upon the tabernacle, as it were, the appearance of fire until the morning. Or if it was two days or a month or a year that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the sons of Israel camped and did not journey; but when it was taken up, they journeyed. At the commandment of the LORD they camped, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed, keeping the charge of the LORD, as the LORD had said by the hand of Moses.

And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle, and, behold, Miriam was leprous as the snow; and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works, for I have not done them out of my own heart. If these men die the common death of all men or if they are visited after the visitation of all men, then the LORD has not sent me. read more. But if the LORD does a new thing and the earth opens her mouth and swallows them up with all their things and they go down alive into Sheol, then ye shall know that these men have provoked the LORD. And it came to pass as he had made an end of speaking all these words that the ground broke open under them; the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their houses and all the men of Korah and all their goods. And fire came out from the LORD and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take the censer and put fire in it from off the altar and put incense upon it and go quickly unto the congregation and reconcile them; for the wrath has gone out from before the face of the LORD; the plague is begun. Then Aaron took his censer as Moses said and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people; and he put on incense and reconciled the people. read more. And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed. Now those that died in that plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those that died concerning the matter of Korah. And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, when the plague was stayed.

And it came to pass that on the next day Moses went into the tabernacle of the testimony; and, behold, the rod of Aaron of the house of Levi had budded and blossomed and brought forth open flowers and yielded almonds.

Then Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice; and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent and lift it up as a banner, and it shall be that anyone that is bitten and looks upon it shall live. And Moses made a serpent of brass and put it up as a banner, and it came to pass that when a serpent bit anyone, he beheld the serpent of brass, and lived.

Then the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee that thou hast smitten me these three times?

And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to fornicate with the daughters of Moab,

But the priests that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan until all the people finished passing the Jordan; and all Israel passed on dry ground.

And it came to pass, when the priests that bore the ark of the covenant of the LORD came up out of the midst of the Jordan and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of the Jordan returned unto their place, flowing as before over all its banks.

And Joshua the son of Nun called the priests and said unto them, Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven shofarot of jubilee before the ark of the LORD. And he said unto the people, Pass on and compass the city and let those that are armed pass on before the ark of the LORD. read more. And when Joshua had spoken unto the people, the seven priests bearing the seven shofarot of jubilee passed on before the LORD and blew with the shofarot; and the ark of the covenant of the LORD followed them. And the seven priests bearing the seven shofarot of jubilee before the ark of the LORD walked continually, and blew with the shofarot; and the armed men went before them; but the congregation came after the ark of the LORD, the priests going on and blowing with the shofarot. Likewise the second day they compassed the city once and returned into the camp; so they did for six days. And on the seventh day they rose early about the dawning of the day and compassed the city after the same manner seven times; only on that day they compassed the city seven times. And when the priests had blown the shofarot the seventh time, Joshua said unto the people, Shout, for the LORD has given you the city. And the city shall be anathema unto the LORD, even it, and all the things that are in it; only Rahab, the harlot, shall live, she and all that are with her in the house because she hid the messengers that we sent. But keep yourselves from the anathema, that ye not touch nor take any thing of the anathema so that ye not make the camp of Israel anathema and trouble it. For all the silver and gold and vessels of brass and iron are consecrated unto the LORD; they shall come into the treasury of the LORD. Then the people shouted when the priests blew with the shofarot, and it came to pass when the people heard the voice of the shofar, that the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, each man straight before him and they took the city.

In the morning, therefore, ye shall come near according to your tribes, and it shall be that the tribe which the LORD takes shall come according to the families thereof, and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households, and the household which the LORD shall take shall come man by man. And it shall be that he that is taken in the anathema shall be burnt with fire, he and all that he has because he has broken the covenant of the LORD and because he has wrought folly in Israel. read more. And Achan answered Joshua and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done. When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment and two hundred shekels of silver and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

Then Joshua spoke unto the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed until the nation had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of righteousness? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven and hastened not to go down about a whole day. read more. And Gideon said unto God, Wilt thou save Israel by my hand as thou hast said? Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the threshing floor; and if the dew is on the fleece only and it is dry upon all the earth beside it, then I shall know that thou wilt save Israel by my hand as thou hast said. read more. But Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me if I speak again on this occasion; only let me prove again now with the fleece. And dividing the three hundred men into three companies, he put a shofar in each man's hand with empty pitchers and torches burning within the pitchers. And he said unto them, Look at me and do as I do; and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, as I do, so shall ye do. read more. But the three hundred blew the shofarot, and the LORD set each man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the camp; and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath and to the border of Abelmeholah unto Tabbath.

And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he pushed with all his might, and the house fell upon the cardinals and upon all the people that were in it. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than those which he slew in his life.

And the cows went straight down the way of Bethshemesh and went along the highway, lowing as they went and turned not aside to the right hand or to the left, and the cardinals of the Philistines went after them unto the border of Bethshemesh.

And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I am a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And fire came down from heaven, that consumed him and his fifty. Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. read more. And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? Tell me what thou hast in the house? And she said, Thy handmaid has nothing in the house except a flask of oil. read more. And he said, Go, borrow vessels from all thy neighbours, empty vessels; borrow not a few. Then enter in and shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons and pour out into all those vessels, and as each one is full, set it aside. So she went from him and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her, and she poured out the oil. And when the vessels were full, she said unto her son, Bring me yet another vessel. And he said unto her, There are no more vessels. Then the oil stopped flowing. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell this oil and pay thy debtors and live thou and thy sons of the rest.

And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was laid dead upon his bed. He went in therefore and shut the door upon both of them and prayed unto the LORD. read more. The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee and unto thy seed for ever. And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.

And the man of God said, Where did it fall? And he showed him the place. Then he cut down a stick and cast it in there and caused the iron to swim.

And it came to pass that night that the angel of the LORD went out and smote in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred and eighty-five thousand men; and when they arose early in the morning, behold, the corpses of the dead.

And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

Then Isaiah, the prophet, cried unto the LORD, and he caused the shadow to return by the degrees by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward.

Then the devil left him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the gospel of the kingdom and healing every sickness and every bodily weakness among the people. And his fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with diverse diseases and torments and those who were possessed with devils and those who were lunatic and those that were paralyzed; and he healed them.

And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Then Jesus said unto him, See thou tell no one; but go, show thyself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them. read more. And when Jesus was entering into Capernaum, a centurion came unto him, beseeching him, and saying, Lord, my servant lies at home paralyzed, grievously tormented. And Jesus said unto him, I will come and heal him. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou should come under my roof; but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me; and I say to this man, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my slave, Do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled and said to those that followed, Verily I say unto you that not even in Israel have I found such faith. But I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west and shall sit down at the table with Abraham and Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens. But the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then Jesus said unto the centurion, Go, and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in that same hour. And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying in bed and with fever.

When evening was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils, and he cast out the spirits with the word and healed all that were sick

And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. And, behold, there arose a great moving in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves; but he was asleep. read more. Then, awake, he rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

And when he was come to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with demons, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? Art thou come here to torment us before the time? read more. And there was a good way off from them a herd of many swine feeding. So the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine; and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea and perished in the waters.

And, behold, they brought him a paralyzed man, lying on a bed; and Jesus, seeing their faith, said unto the paralyzed man, Trust, son; thy sins are forgiven thee. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemes. read more. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why think ye evil in your hearts? For what is easier, to say, Thy sins are forgiven thee, or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (then said he to the paralyzed man), Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.

But when the people were put forth, he went in and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

And when Jesus departed from there, two blind men followed him, crying out and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him; and Jesus said unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yes, Lord. read more. Then he touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no one knows it.

And as they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a demon.

These twelve Jesus sent forth and commanded them, saying, Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter into any city of the Samaritans, but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of the heavens has come. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons; freely ye have received, freely give.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and tell John those things which you hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk; the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear; the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to Hades, for if the mighty works which have been done in thee had been done in those of Sodom, it would have remained until this day. Therefore I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for thee.

Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind, and dumb, and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.

And Jesus went forth and saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away that they may go into the villages and buy themselves food. read more. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. And they said unto him, We have here but five loaves and two fishes. He said, Bring them here to me. And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass and took the five loaves and the two fishes; and looking up to heaven, he blessed and broke and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. And they all ate and were filled, and they took up of the fragments that remained, twelve baskets full. And those that had eaten were about five thousand men besides women and children.

And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus went unto them, walking upon the sea. And when the disciples saw him walking upon the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost; and they cried out for fear. read more. But straightway Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Trust that I AM; be not afraid.

And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked upon the water to go to Jesus.

And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

and besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment, and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

And, behold, a woman of Canaan having come out of the same borders cried unto him, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me; my daughter is sick, possessed by a demon. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away, for she cries out after us. read more. But he answered and said, It is not good to take the children's bread and to cast it to the little dogs. And she said, Yes, Lord, yet the little dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith; be it unto thee even as thou desire. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

And many people came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many other sick and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them,

And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. And he took the seven loaves and the fishes and gave thanks and broke them and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. read more. And they all ate and were filled, and they took up of the broken food that was left seven baskets full. And those that ate were four thousand men besides women and children.

And after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John, his brother, and brought them apart up into a high mountain and [he] was transfigured before them, and his face shined as the sun, and his raiment was as white as the light. read more. And, behold, Moses and Elijah appeared unto them talking with him. Then Peter answered and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to remain here; if thou desire, let us make three tabernacles here: one for thee and one for Moses and one for Elijah. While he yet spoke, behold, a cloud of light overshadowed them, and, behold, a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and feared greatly. Then Jesus came and touched them and said, Arise and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one except Jesus only.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is lunatic and suffers miserably; for many times he has fallen into the fire and often into the water. read more. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. Then Jesus answered and said, O unfaithful and crooked generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him here to me. And Jesus rebuked him, and the demon departed out of him and the child was cured from that very hour.

Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea and cast a hook and take up the first fish that comes up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a stater, a coin worth four drachmas; take that, and give it unto them for me and thee.

Then Jesus, having mercy on them, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it and found nothing upon it, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee from now on for ever. And then the fig tree withered away.

For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders in such a manner that they shall deceive, if possible, the very elect.

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who slept arose read more. and came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared unto many.

Now well along on the sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first of the sabbaths, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake, for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone from the door and sat upon it. read more. His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow; and for fear of him the guards shook and became as dead men. And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye, for I know that ye seek Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there ye shall see him; behold, I have told you.

And he healed many that were sick of diverse diseases and cast out many devils and suffered not the devils to speak because they knew him.

And when they could not come near unto him for the crowd, they uncovered the roof of the house where he was; and when they had broken it open, they let down the bed in which the paralytic lay. read more. But that ye may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins (he spoke to the sick of the palsy), I say unto thee, Arise and take up thy bed and go to thy house. And by and by he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed and glorified God, saying, We never saw anything like unto this.

And taking him aside from the multitude, he put his fingers into the man's ears; and spitting, he touched the man's tongue with the saliva; and looking up to heaven, he cried out, and said, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. read more. And straightway his ears were opened, and that which bound his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.

And he came to Bethsaida, and they bring a blind man unto him and beseech him to touch him. So, taking the blind man by the hand, he led him out of the town; and spitting into his eyes and putting his hands upon them, he asked him if he saw anything. read more. And looking, he said, I see men; I see that they walk as trees. After that, he put his hands again upon his eyes and caused him to see; and he was whole and saw everyone, far away and clearly.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night and have taken nothing; nevertheless, at thy word I will let down the net. read more. And when they had done this, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was breaking.

And he came down with them and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those that were tormented with unclean spirits were healed. read more. And the whole multitude sought to touch him, for there went virtue out of him and healed them all.

And he came and touched the bier, and those that bore him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. And he that was dead sat up and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues and of evil spirits, and unto many that were blind he gave sight. Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go and tell John the things ye have seen and heard: how the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached;

and heal the sick that are therein and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come near unto you.

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject unto us in thy name.

And, behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years and was bowed together and could in no wise lift herself up. And when Jesus saw her, he called her and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. read more. And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God.

And, behold, there was a certain man before him who had the dropsy. And Jesus, answering, spoke unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? read more. And they were silent. And he took him and healed him and dismissed him

When he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass that as they went, they were cleansed.

And one of them smote the slave of the prince of the priests and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear and healed him.

He is not here, but is risen; remember how he spoke unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece. Jesus said unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim. read more. And he said unto them, Draw out now and bear unto the butler. And they bore it. When the butler had tasted the water that was made wine and knew not where it was from (but the servants who drew the water knew), the butler called the bridegroom and said unto him, Every man at the beginning sets forth the good wine, and when they are well satisfied, then that which is worse; but thou hast kept the good wine until now.

So Jesus came again into Cana of Galilee, where he had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick at Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judaea into Galilee, he went unto him and besought him that he would come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death. read more. Then Jesus said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe. The nobleman said unto him, Sir, come down before my child dies. Jesus said unto him, Go; thy son lives. And the man believed the word that Jesus spoke unto him, and he went. And as he was now going down, his slaves met him and told him, saying, Thy son lives. Then he enquired of them the hour when he began to get better. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. So the father knew that it was at the same hour in which Jesus said unto him, Thy son lives; and he believed, and his whole house.

And a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said unto him, Dost thou desire to be made whole? read more. The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man when the water is troubled to put me into the pool, but while I am coming, another steps down before me. Jesus said unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole and took up his bed and walked, and on that day was the sabbath.

Then they willingly received him into the ship, and immediately the ship was at the land where they went.

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man who was blind from his birth. And his disciples asked him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? read more. Jesus answered, Neither has this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. It is expedient that I do the works of him that sent me while it is day; the night comes, when no one can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay and said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is by interpretation, Sent). Then he went and washed and came back seeing.

Then the Jews came round about him and said unto him, Until when wilt thou hold our soul in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered them, I have told you, and ye do not believe; the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. read more. But ye believe not because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;

And having said these things, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. Then he that had been dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus said unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

Then the same day at evening, being the first of the sabbaths, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and said unto them, Peace be unto you.

And again eight days later, his disciples were within and Thomas with them; then Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst and said, Peace be unto you.

Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed; blessed are those that have not seen and yet have believed.

but these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life in his name.

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right hand side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. read more. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.) Now at this sound, the multitude came together and were confounded because each one heard them speak in his own tongue. And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these who speak Galilaeans? And how do we hear each one speak in our own tongue, with which we were brought up? Parthians and Medes and Elamites and the dwellers in Mesopotamia and in Judaea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, Cretes and Arabians, we hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

This Jesus God has raised up, of whom we all are witnesses.

And fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and gave up the spirit; and great fear came on all those that heard these things.

Then she fell down straightway at his feet and yielded up the spirit; and the young men came in and found her dead and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

And by the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were wrought in the people. (And they were all with one accord in Solomon's porch.

So much that they brought forth the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks and those who were tormented with unclean spirits, and they were healed every one.

But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors and brought them forth and said,

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles in the people.

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spoke, hearing and seeing the signs which he did. For many unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of those who were possessed with them, and many paralytics and that were lame were healed.

Then Simon himself believed also; and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were being done.

And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, the Lord Jesus, the Christ, makes thee whole; arise and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

Then Peter put them all out and knelt down and prayed and turned to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes; and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and the guards before the door that kept the prison. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shone in the prison, and he smote Peter on the side and woke him up, saying, Arise quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. read more. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he said unto him, Cast thy garment about thee and follow me. And he went out and followed him and knew not that it was true which was done by the angel, but thought he saw a vision. When they were past the first and the second guard, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city, which opened to them of its own accord, and they went out and passed on through one street, and then the angel departed from him.

And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is against thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness, and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.

With all this, they abode there a long time speaking with freedom in the Lord, who gave testimony unto the word of his grace and granted that signs and wonders be done by their hands.

said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.

And she did this for many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

But at midnight as Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God, and the prisoners heard them, then suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul so that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.

And Paul went down and fell on him and, embracing him, said, Trouble not yourselves, for his soul is still in him. When he therefore was come up again and had broken bread and eaten and talked a long while, even until day break, thus he departed. read more. And they took the young man home alive and were greatly comforted.

And he shook off the beast into the fire and felt no harm.

And it came to pass that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of dysentery, to whom Paul entered in and prayed and laid his hands on him and healed him. So when this was done, others also, who had diseases in the island, came and were healed,

And he does great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven to the earth in the sight of men and deceives those that dwell on the earth by those signs which were given unto him to do in the presence of the beast, commanding those that dwell on the earth to make an image of the beast, which has the wound by the sword, and did live.

Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we desire to see a sign from thee.

And the Pharisees came forth and began to argue with him, demanding of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.

And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad, for he was desirous to see him of a long season because he had heard many things of him, and he hoped to see some sign done by him.

This beginning of the signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and manifested forth his glory, and his disciples believed on him.

Then the Jews answered and said unto him, What sign showest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?

Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, seeing the signs which he did.

Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know,

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles in the people.

with power of signs and wonders, in virtue of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem and round about unto Illyricum, I have filled the entire area with the gospel of the Christ.
