When they heard this, they came under deep conviction
when a man crippled from his birth was being carried by, who used to be laid every day at what was called The Beautiful Gate of the temple, to beg from people on their way into the temple.
When he saw Peter and John about to enter the temple complex, he asked for help.
When all the people saw him walking about and praising God,
And, when they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the Temple, they were utterly astonished and amazed at what had happened to him.

and when God shall send him, which before was preached unto you,
Who is to be kept in heaven till the time when all things are put right, of which God has given word by the mouth of his holy prophets, who have been from the earliest times.
Moses [expressed it when he] said [Deut. 18:15], 'The Lord God will raise up a prophet for you from among your brothers; He will be like me [in some ways] and you must all pay attention to Him in everything He says to you.'
ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, when he said to Abraham, "all the families of the earth shall be blessed in your posterity."
Unto you first, God - having raised up his Servant - hath sent him forth, ready to bless you, when ye are turning away, each one, from your wickednesses.
And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this?
When they observed the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed and recognized that they had been with Jesus.
And when they saw the healed man standing there with Peter and John, there was nothing they could say [to refute the obvious miracle].
But when they had commanded them to go aside out of the council, they conferred among themselves,
And when they had summoned them, they
So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding nothing how they might punish them, because of the people: for all men glorified God for that which was done.
And [when they] were released, they went to their own [people] and reported all that the chief priests and the elders had said to them.
When they heard this, they all raised their voices to God and said, “Master, You are the One who made the heaven, the earth, and the sea, and everything in them.
when you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are done by the power of your holy servant Jesus."
When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak God’s message with boldness.
And Joses, who, by the apostles, was surnamed Barnabas, (which name, when translated, is, Son of consolation,) a Levite, by birth a Cyprian,
[When it] remained to you, did it not remain [yours]? And [when it] was sold, was it at your disposal? How [is it] that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to people, but to God!"
When he heard these words, Ananias dropped dead, and a great fear came on all who heard.
And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
when Peter addressing himself to her, tell me, said he, have you sold the land for such a price? yes, said she, for so much.
Instantly she dropped dead at his feet. When the young men came in, they found her dead, carried her out, and buried her beside her husband.
And, the more, were being added, when they believed in the Lord, throngs both of men and women; -
As a result, they would carry the sick out into the streets and lay them on cots and mats so that when Peter came by, at least his shadow
In obedience to this, they entered the temple complex at daybreak and began to teach.
When the high priest and those who were with him arrived, they convened the Sanhedrin—the full Senate of the sons of Israel—and sent orders to the jail to have them brought.
But when the temple police got there, they did not find them in the jail, so they returned and reported,
“We found the jail securely locked, with the guards standing in front of the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside!”
Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they doubted of them whereunto this would grow.
when somebody came and told them, the men whom ye order'd to prison, are standing in the temple, and teaching the people.
After they brought them in, they had them stand before the Sanhedrin, and the high priest asked,

and rescued him from all his troubles, and enabled him to win favor and to show wisdom when he stood before Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and he appointed him governor of Egypt and of his whole household.
When Jacob heard there was grain in Egypt, he sent our ancestors the first time.
But when the time of the promise drew nigh, which God had sworn to Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt,
until [the time when] there arose another king over egypt who did not know joseph [nor his history and the merit of his service to Egypt].
In which time Moses was born, who was exceeding beautiful, and he was nourished up in his father's house three months: and when he was exposed,
and when he was left outside, Pharaoh’s daughter adopted and raised him as her own son.
And when he was full forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brethren the children of Israel.
When he saw one of them being mistreated, he came to his rescue and avenged the oppressed man by striking down the Egyptian.

When Moses heard this, he ran away and traveled to the country of Midian where he settled down and had two sons.
And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
When Moses saw it, he was amazed at the sight. As he was approaching to look at it, the voice of the Lord came:
“This Moses, whom they rejected when they said, Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?
They said to Aaron [i.e., Moses' brother], 'Make gods to lead us, because we do not know what happened to this Moses who led us when we first left the country of Egypt.'
That was the time when they made the Calf and offered sacrifice to their idol, and held festivities in honor of their own handiwork!
Our ancestors in turn received it and with Joshua brought it in when they dispossessed the nations that God drove out before our fathers,

And they, when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, returned to Jerusalem, and preached the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.
When Philip ran up to it, he heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you’re reading?”
And he said, How is that possible when I have no guide? And he made Philip get up by his side.
Now the place in the book where he was reading was this: He was taken, like a sheep, to be put to death; and as a lamb is quiet when its wool is being cut, so he made no sound:
And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.
