'Man' in the Bible

A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.

Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

A righteous man is careful in dealing with his neighbor,but the ways of the wicked lead them astray.

The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.

A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.

A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

One man pretends to be rich but has nothing;another pretends to be poor but has great wealth.

Riches are a ransom for a man’s life,but a poor man hears no threat.

There is a glad dawn for the upright man, but the light of the sinner will be put out.

A vain man through pride causeth debate, And with the counselled is wisdom.

The teaching of the wise man is a fountain of life, to turn away from the snares of death.

Excellent speech becometh not a vile man; how much less do lying lips a noble!

A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again.
