'In Christ' in the Bible
Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, together with the bishops and deacons:
So that my bonds in Christ are manifest throughout all the judgment hall: and in all other places;
in order that your rejoicing in Christ Jesus may abound in me through my coming again unto you.
For you have been granted the privilege not only of trusting in Christ but of suffering for him.
If then there is any comfort in Christ, any help given by love, any uniting of hearts in the Spirit, any loving mercies and pity,
Think this in yourselves which [was] also in Christ Jesus,
holding forth the word of life, so as to be a boast for me in Christ's day, that I have not run in vain nor laboured in vain.
for we are the circumcision, who by the Spirit are serving God, and glorying in Christ Jesus, and in flesh having no trust,
More than that, I count everything as loss, for the sake of the exceeding value of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord. And for his sake I have lost everything, and count it as refuse, if I may but gain Christ and be found in union with him;
and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ-the righteousness from God based on faith.
I pursue toward the scope for the prize of combat of the calling above of God in Christ Jesus.
I entreat Euodia, and I entreat Syntyche, to be of one mind, as sisters in Christ.
And the peace of God, surpassing all understanding, shall watch your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].
All your own needs my God will fully supply, according to his riches in glory, in Christ Jesus.
Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren who are with me salute you.
