I have baptized you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit."

And just as he was coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rent apart, and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon him,

I tell you that men will be forgiven everything--their sins, and all the slanders that they utter;

Jesus again began to teach by the Sea; and, as an immense crowd was gathering round him, he got into a boat, and sat in it on the Sea, while all the people were on the shore at the water's edge.

Seeing them laboring at the oars--for the wind was against them--about three hours after midnight Jesus came towards them, walking on the water, intending to join them.

But, when they saw him walking on the water, they thought it was a ghost, and cried out;

"From his childhood," he answered; "and it has often thrown him into fire and into water to put an end to his life; but, if you can possibly do anything, take pity on us, and help us!"

If any one gives you a cup of water because you belong to Christ, I tell you, he shall assuredly not lose his reward.

Jesus sent forward two of his disciples and said to them: "Go into the city, and there a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you; follow him;
